MDS Admission Notice 2015
Applications have been invited by The Kerala
Christian Professional College Managements’ Federation (KCPCMF) for admission
to following MDS course conducted at Pushpagiri College of Dental Sciences,
Medicity, Perumthuruthy, Thiruvalla 689107, Kerala during academic Year
2015-16.
1. MDS Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
2. MDS Periodontology
3. MDS Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge
4. MDS Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics
5. MDS Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics
Criteria of Eligibility for Admission
Nationality:
Candidates must be Citizens of India / children or
dependents of Non Resident Indians.
Academic:
i. Applicants should have passed the BDS Degree
from any of the Universities in Kerala or of any other University recognized by
the Kerala University of Health Sciences as equivalent thereto with eligibility
for full registration in respect of all courses. Applicants who have completed
the Compulsory Rotating Internship (C.R.I.) on or before 31st March 2015 are
eligible to apply.
However, admission to the candidates will be given
only after obtaining registration of State Dental Council. Applicants must meet
all the eligibility requirements that may be stipulated by Dental Council of
India and Kerala University of Health Sciences, Trissur, from time to time.
ii. In the case of an Indian national with
recognized degree from a foreign University, the Dental Council of India may,
on payment of the prescribed fee for the registration, grant
temporary/permanent registration for the duration of the Post Graduate training
restricted to the college/institution to which the applicant is admitted for
the time being exclusively for Post Graduate studies. Temporary/Permanent
registration to such candidates shall be subject to the condition that the
degree is duly registered in the country where the degree is obtained and is
recognized by the corresponding Council or concerned authority in India also.
iii. No condonation of internship (C.R.I.) will be
accepted.
iv. All aspiring candidates shall have to qualify
either in the Kerala State Entrance Examination for Admission to Post Graduate
Dental (MDS) Courses 2015 OR in the AIPGDEE - 2015 OR in any other P.G. Dental
(MDS) Entrance Examination conducted by any State Government or University for
admission session 2015. In order to be eligible for admission in any
Postgraduate Dental Course in 2015, it shall be necessary for a candidate to
obtain a minimum of fifty percentage (50%) and above in the relevant P.G.
Dental (MDS) Entrance Examination. However, in respect of candidates belonging
to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Socially and Educationally
Backward Classes (SEBC), the minimum percentage shall be Forty (40%). In
respect of candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum
percentage shall be Forty-five (45%).

The Application shall be submitted as detailed
below:
a) Completed application should be submitted to the
member colleges and not to the Office of the Federation. This should be
submitted before
3 pm on 15th May 2015.
A print out of the online application with copies
of required documents affixing the photograph and signature shall be submitted
along with a DD for Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) drawn in favour of
KCPCMF payable at Ernakulam to the member college.
Self Attested photocopies of Certificates /
Documents to be submitted along with the application:
a) School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) of student /
Proof of Date of Birth.
b) All marks sheets of BDS including that of failed
years, if any (First Year to Final Year university examination marks card/s).
c) Attempt Certificate.
d) Internship Completion Certificate / Internship
Completed Certificate.
e) Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree
Certificate.
f) Registration Certificate from the DCI or/and State
Dental Council
g) Admit Card and Score Card of the relevant PG
Dental (MDS) Entrance Examination for admission session 2015.
h) Certificate issued by competent authority
(Authorized to issue such a certificate but not below the rank of a Tahsildar)
to prove SC / ST / OBC status (if applicable).
i) Nativity Certificate, if applicable.
