Energy Management and Auditing (part-time) Admission Notice 2015
Kerala State Productivity Council, Kalamassery has
announced 2 month part-time training course on Energy Management and Auditing
starting from 1 June, 2015 to 31 July, 2015 at Productivity House, HMT Road,
Kalamassery.
ABOUT THE COURSE
Energy Management can help industry control its
operating costs. Energy Management is also important for reducing local,
regional and global emissions and can help mitigate the problem of global
warming and is the most important area to be addressed by any socially
responsible organization as part of their sustainable development initiatives.
This course will help industry professionals acquire the skills and techniques
required to implement energy management. This will also benefit students who
are interested in working on energy management. In the context of the Energy
Conservation Act 2001, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency has emphasized the
importance of Energy Managers and Certified Energy Auditors. This course is
designed to provide the background required for engineers to meet this role and
can be a preparatory programme for writing exam conducted by Bureau of Energy
Efficiency (BEE) for Certifying Energy Managers and Energy Auditors.
PARTICIPANTS EXPECTED
Working Executives and qualified professionals in
BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH/PG in Physics or Electronics or Chemistry (with Physics and
Mathematics at graduation level) / Diploma Engineers or equivalent to build
capacity in Energy Management or to become Certified Energy Manager / Auditor
(CEM / CEA).

filled along with the demand draft for the course fee to address given below on or before 25
May, 2015. The Director, Kerala State Productivity Council
Productivity House, HMT Road, Kalamassery 683 104. The Demand Draft should be
drawn in favour of Kerala State Productivity Council payable at Kalamassery.
