Institute Fellowship
The candidates selected for admission to Ph.D.
Programme as full-time research scholar is eligible to receive institute
fellowship as follows. The tenure of a research fellowship is four years only
but it is based on the performance of the research work and other assignments
of the Department. The full-time research scholars have to assist in teaching
and laboratory work assigned by the concerned Department.
(a) Candidates joining with Master's Degree in
Engineering / Technology or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto,
Rs.25,000/-
per month, for the first two years
Rs.28,000/-
per month, in the next two years
(b) Candidates joining with a Master's Degree in
Sciences / Humanities / Social Sciences /MCA / MBA or a degree recognized as
equivalent thereto,
Rs.
25,000/- per month, for the first two years
Rs.
28,000/- per month in the next two years
(c) Candidates joining with Bachelors Degree in
Engineering / Technology or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto,
Rs.
25,000/- per month, for the first two years
Rs.
28,000/- per month in the next two years

The application form and other relevant information
for admission to Ph.D. program may be downloaded from the website: www.nitjsr.ac.in.
The filled-in applications along with the necessary
documents and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 1,000/- (Rs. 500/- in the case of
SC/ST candidates) towards Registration fee, drawn in favour of the Director,
National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, payable at SBI RIT Branch (Code
1882), NIT Jamshedpur and should reach to Associate Dean (Academic: PG&R),
NIT Jamshedpur-831014, Jharkhand (State) on or before 01/06/2015 (Monday).
