Central University of Punjab will be conducting All India Entrance Test on 16th July 2011 (Saturday) for admission to the following programmes of Academic Year 2011-12:

* M.Sc. Environmental Science & Technology

* M.A. Comparative Literature
* M.A. Development Economics

Eligibility:
M.Phil.-Ph.D. Integrated Programme in Biosciences:
Master's degree in Botany/ Biochemistry /Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Zoology/ or any other branch of life sciences with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

M.Phil.-Ph.D. Integrated Programme in Environmental Science and Technology:
Master's degree in Technology /Engineering/Environmental Science / Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/Botany/Zoology/or any
other branch of Life Sciences or Chemical Sciences with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university

M.Phil.-Ph.D. Integrated Programme in South and Central Asian Studies:
Master's Degree in South and Central degree Asian Studies, Indian History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Public Administration, Geography or allied/relevant field with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

M.Phil.-Ph.D. Integrated Programme in Comparative Literature:
Master's Degree in Comparative Literature/ Linguistics/any Indian Language or allied/ relevant field with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

M.Phil.-Ph.D. Integrated Programme in Development Economics:
Master's Degree in Economics or allied/ relevant field with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

LL.M.-Ph.D. Integrated Programme in Environmental Law:
Bachelor's Degree in Law with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

M.Pharm.-Ph.D. Integrated Programme in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Medicinal Chemistry):
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university and also having valid GPAT qualification.

M.Sc. in Biosciences:
Bachelor's degree in Science with subjects in any branch of Life Sciences with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

M.Sc. in Environmental Science and Technology:
Bachelor's degree in Science/ Engineering or equivalent with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

M.A. in South & Central Asian Studies:
Bachelor's degree with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university

M.A. in Comparative Literature:
Bachelor's degree with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university

M.A. in Development Economics:
Bachelor's degree with Economics as a subject of study or its equivalent in any discipline with 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university

M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences:
Bachelor's degree in Science with Chemistry as a subject with 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

Test Centres:
Ahmedabad, Bangaluru, Bathinda, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida and Shimla.

General Candidates Rs. 350/- only Rs. 400/- only
SC/ST/PWD Candidates Rs. 175/- only Rs. 200/- only

A Demand Draft drawn from any nationalized/scheduled bank in favour of “Central University of Punjab", payable at Bathinda should accompany the application form

Date of Entrance Test: 16th July, 2011 (Saturday)
Start of the online submission of application: 16th June, 2011 (Thursday)
Last date for submission of online application: 30th June, 2011 (Thursday)
Last date for receipt of application printout along with enclosures: 7th July, 2011 (Thursday)
Last date to submit detailed marks-sheet of the qualifying examination: 16th July, 2011 (Saturday)
