University of Lucknow has invited applications for admission to the following Post-Graduate Courses and LLM course of Academic Year 2011-12.

Courses & Eligibility:
1. Acharya (Aacharya) - Shastri/equivalent with sanskrit
2. M.A. (AIH & Archaeology) - Any Graduate with AIH
3. M.Sc.(Anthropology) - B.Sc. With Anthropology
4. M.A. (Anthropology) - B.A./B.Sc.
5. M.Com (Applied Economics)- B.Com./B.A. with Economics
6. M.A. (Arab Culture) - Any Graduate
7. M.A. (Arabic) - Any Graduate
8. B.Li. Sc. - Any Graduate
9. Proficiency - Bonafide student of Lucknow University
10. M.Sc. (Biochemistry) - B.Sc. with Chemistry in all Three years or B.Sc. with Biochemistry in all three years
11. M.Sc. (Botany) - B.Sc. with Botany in third year
12. M.B.A. - Any Graduate (Through CAT)
13. M.Sc.( Chemistry) - B.Sc. with Chemistry in third year
14. M.Com - B.Com.
15. M.A. - Any Graduate with History

A candidate will be eligible for Admission to Post-Graduate Courses if he/she has completed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with 10+2+3 system from any University recognized by University Grants Commission and has secured a minimum 45% of marks at graduate level. However for SC/ST candidates minimum pass percentage of marks will be 40%.
The admission to the Post-Graduate Courses in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce and Education shall be on the basis of merit of marks obtained in the Graduation/Qualifying Examination.

A candidate will be eligible for admission to LL.M. course if he/she has secured a minimum of 50% marks at Law Graduate level. However for SC, ST candidates, the minimum percentage of marks will be 48%.

Application Procedure:
Candidates have to submit the applications through ONLINE at http://www.lkouniv.ac.in
Steps for Online Submission:
Step 1:
Generate Bank Challan : Click on the link "Generate Bank Challan" to start the registration process.
Form fee is Rs. 800.00 per course for general and OBC candidates and Rs. 400.00 per course for SC/ST candidates.
Enter all the required information to Generate Bank Challan.
Candidates can select upto five courses in a single form. There is no need to generate bank challan for each course.
Print the Challan.
Step 2:
Go to any Branch of State Bank Of India and deposit the fee amount.
Bank will retain its copy and return the other two copies meant for the Student and University, duly stamped.
Bank will also provide with a unique code number called the Journal Number.
Step 3
Complete further formalities regarding Registration From Submission after depositing the application fee at the State Bank of India.

Last date for submission of Online Application Form is Wednesday, July 20, 2011, 5:00 pm.
