Ph.D. Admission schedule -2012
Admission forms are available in Administrative Office as well as on Delhi-1100 07 University website (www.du.ac.in).
Department of Physics & Astrophysics :- Ph.D. Admission :- Notice, Form (Non-Fellowship), Form (Fellowship)
A. For candidate who do No have Net-JRF or equivalent fellowship:
*(Minimum criterion for eligibility: 55% marks in M.Sc. (Physics) for General & OBC category;S0% in M.Sc. (Physics for SC/ST category. Those candidates, who have appeared in M.Sc. (Physics) Final year examination 20L2, are also eligible to apply;
however, their admission to Ph.D programme will be subject to fulfillment of minimum criteria.
Candidate must provide their mail and a contact phone number, outstation candidates will be informed by email or Phone call. The Department will not be responsible for non-working email and phone number
Last date for submission of application: - 30th June 2012
Display of list of candidates being called for interview:- 17th July 2012
Date of Written/ Interview (Tentative) 25, 26 * July 2012
Announcement of final result : Two days after the Exams/interview
Last date for submitting registration form with supervisors signature: 10th August 2012
*Can be extended for another one day
B. For candidates with Net-JRF fellowship or equivalent fellowship
Registration form duly signed by supervisors will be accepted until 01st August 2012.
