Admission Notice for Craft instructor Training Courses

Applications are invited for admissions to "Craft Instructor Training Courses (CTI)" in Advanced Training Institute, Kanpur for the year 2012-2013 commencing from 1st August 2012. The training is likely to be imparted in the following trades.

 Engineering Trades:
1. Electrician 2. Wireman 3. Electronics Mechanic 4. Mechanic Motor Vehicle 5. Fitter 6. Turner 7.Wejder 8. Machinist 

Non-Engineering Trades: 
Cutting & Sewing 

Training Pattern:
Training in all the, trades will be provided on Modular Pattern of 4 modules each of 3 months duration for Non-Engineering Trades and of four modules each of 3 months duration for Engineering Trades. These module are spread over a year from August to July for Engineering /Non-Engineering trades. A trainee once admitted has option to complete all the modules in a span of 5 years in any of Training Institutes under DGE&T. 

Modules for Engineering Trades:
1. Trade Techhology-I (duration 3 months)
2. Trade Technology-ll (duration 3 months)
3. Engineering Technology (duration 3 months)
4. Training Methodology (duration 3 months) Modules for Non-Engineering Trades:
1. Trade Skill-I (duration 4 months)
2. Trade Skill-I I (duration 4 months)
3. Training Methodology & Soft Skill (duration 4 months) 

Training Procedure, Objective and Certificate:
.These courses will cover comprehensive training in skill development and Training Methodology including Principles of Teaching so as to make the trainees qualified trained Instructors for Industrial Training Institutes^lndustrial Training Centers and industry. Successful trainees will be awarded certificates by NCVT, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India on completion of all the prescribed modules of a trade. However, Marks Sheet after completion of each module will be issued by the institute. 

Eligibility:
National Trade Certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate in relevant trade 'or Diploma in
relevant branch of Engineering.
Age:
Between 18 to 40 years, upper age is reiaxable for 5 years.for SC/ST candidates. No age bar for
sponsored candidates.
Selection:
Eligible sponsored candidates will be admitted directly, Selection of private candidates will be made
on merit basis only.
Reservation:
1. First preference will be given to those candidates/Instructors who are sponsored by the State Directors dealing with Craftsman Training Scheme.
2. Next preference will be given to those candidates/Instructors, who are sponsored by the Establishment running under apprenticeship Act 1961 and having basic Training centre.
3. Next preference will be given to the candidates/Instructors deputed by Private affiliated ITC's.
4. Remaining seats, if any, will be filled up from Private candidates on the merit basis.
5. Seats are reserved for Private candidates in various categories as per rules of Govt, of India. 

Admission Fee for 1st Module (subject to change if any):

1. Tuition Fees for Government nominess Nil                                  
2. Tuition Fees for Private candidates Rs. 50.00 per month for SC/ST/c'andidates. & Rs. 150.00 per month for other candidates.
3. Caution Money (Refundable) Rs. 250.00
4. Library Security (Refundable) Rs. 100.00
5. Gymkhana fee Rs. 50.00 for modules of 3 months duration and Rs. 100.00 for modules of more than 3 months duration and. nil for SC/ST candidates. '
6. Examination fee                       Rs. 100.00
7. Medical fee Rs. 25.00'
8. Hostel rent for hosteller only Rs. 100.00 per month
9. Hostel Caution Money for hosteller only Rs. 125.00
10. Hostel Service Charge for hosteller only Rs. 50.00
11. Mess Charges for hosteller only  Rs. 1200.00 per month approx.

Hostel: Moderately furnished limited hostel facilities are available for trainees.

How to apply:
1. State Directors may send nominations of instructors working in Govt. ITIs directly to the Director of the institute.
2. Private Affiliated ITIs/ITCs may nominate their Instructors in the prescribed Nomination Form of the institute.
3. Private candidates fresh as well as those who have completed some modules seeking admission may apply in the prescribed Admission Form of the institute.
4. Proforma of Admission Form and Nomination Form published with this advertisement should be used to apply. These forms may also be downloaded from website of ATI, Kanpur in www.dget.nic.in.

Forms complete in all respects along with attested copies of all necessary certificates/documents may be submitted at the counter of the institute in person or be sent directly by post to Director, Advanced Training Institute, P.O.-Udyog Nagar, Kanpur-208022. Applicants other than SC/ST categories should also enclose a Demand Draft/IPO for Rs. 50/- as Registration fee in. favour of DDO, ATI, Kanpur along with Application Form/Nomination Form. Demand Draft/ IPO in favour of other than DDO, ATI, Kanpur shall not be accepted and such Forms shall be-out rightly rejected.

Date of Closing :
Last date of receipt of Admission Forms and Nomination Forms at ATI Kanpur is 30th June 2012. Forms incomplete in any respect or received after 30th June 2012 shall out rightly be rejected.

Director, Advanced Training Institute, Kanpur reserves the right to discontinue/cancel admission in any trade at his discretion without assigning any reason/notice what so ever.
