Program Overview
The SU-SONA MS in Computer Engineering program is a post graduate engineering degree which is a first of its kind offered in India through the AICTE “twinning” arrangement. The program is approved by the AICTE and offers aspiring engineers an opportunity to advance their profession and career with the benefit of an international educational experience and a MS degree from a reputed US University. Both SONA and Syracuse University are nationally recognized in their respective nations for the quality of education they provide and this “twinning” program will benefit those who wish to gain a truly international education and experience.
Eligibility:
BE/BTech in CSE/IT/EEE/ECE
or
Equivalent degree in Engineering
The main features of the program are as follows:
First year of study in India at Sona College of Technology
Second year of study at Syracuse University
MS Degree conferred by Syracuse University
30 credits Curriculum and Syllabi adopted from the MS CE program currently offered at Syracuse University
The program is AICTE approved

Minimum Eligibility:
B.E./B.Tech in CSE/IT/EEE/ECE or equivalent engineering degree with minimum 7.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale or 65 % marks in aggregate (from recognized university).
Valid score of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/GRE score.
TOEFL score or
English proficiency test conducted by Sona College of Technology.(Applicable for 2012-13 academic year only)
How to Apply:
Online Application Form and Information Brochure is available at www.sonatech.ac.in/syracuse from 16th July 2012. Candidates are required to apply ONLINE. After filling the form, candidates are advised to take a printout and keep the same for the record.
The application fee is Rs.1000/-. The fee is to be paid through e-transfer as part of your the application procedure. The Bank account details are available in the application form. Please scan and attach the payment confirmation along with your online application.
