UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION

Proposals are invited from Universities/ Colleges included under section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956 for construction of girls and/ or boys hostels. Institutions located in any of the 126 SC/ST concentrated districts, identified by the Government of India, are eligible to submit their proposals alongwith all documents prescribed in the UGC building construction guidelines. A copy of the guidelines and the list of SC/ST concentrated districts are available on the UGC website: www.ugc.ac.in
Proposals complete in all respects, should reach the UGC latest by 10th September, 2012. Universities may submit their proposals to Dr. C.S. Meena, Joint Secretary, UGC, New Delhi and colleges to their Regional office concerned.
Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
