ELIGIBILITY FOR
ADMISSION
A
Candidate, for admission to Post Basic BSc Nursing course shall be required to
have.
1.
A pass in the Plus two/Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry and
Biology as optional subjects.
2.
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery course recognized by the Indian
Nursing Council and Kerala Nursing & Midwifery Council with minimum of 50%
marks in aggregate.
3.
Candidate should possess Kerala Nursing & Midwifery Council registration at
the time of submitting application and candidate shall be medically fit.
4.
Upper age limit 45 years.
ADMISSION
PROCEDURE
1.
Last date of receipt of filled application is 15.09.2012. The Entrance test for
the eligible candidates will be conducted on 20.09.2012 in the College of
Nursing attached to the hospital from 11 AM. Hall ticket for attending the
written test will be send to the email id of the respective candidates.
2.
Incomplete and incorrect application will be rejected.
3.
In case if false statements in the application are detected on further scrutiny,
admission will be cancelled and fees paid will not be refunded.
4.
The right of admission is reserved to the Principal.
5.
Prescribed fee should be paid at the time of admission.
6.
Fees once paid will not be refunded.
7.
Admission is provisional and subject to the approval of the concerned competent
authority.
8.
The right of the admission of the present student of the college to the next
higher class will be decided by the Principal.
9.
The following original documents are required to be submitted at the time of
admission along with 3 sets of xerox copies.
a.
SSLC or equivalent marks card.
b.
PDC/10+2/HSC or equivalent marks card.
c.
Transfer certificate.
d.
General Nursing Diploma Certificate & Mark list
e.
KNMC Registration Certificate
f.
Caste certificate (for SC/ST candidates).
g.
Conduct certificate.
h.
3 passport size and 3 stamp size colour photos.
10.
The students are required to refer to rules and regulations of Kerala Nurses
and Midwives Council, Indian Nursing Council, Kerala University of Health
Sciences and Government of Kerala issued from time to time.
11.
Admission is made only to the First year of the course and not directly to any
higher class. Application for admission to higher classes or for migration from
other colleges will not be entertained.
12.
For further communication all applicant should quote the serial number given on
the top of application form. Communication without serial number will not be
entertained.
DURATION OF
COURSE
2
years duration with University exams at the end of each year. FEESTRUCTURE
1.
Students are liable to pay the tuition fee and special fee as fixed by the
Government of Kerala at the time of admission.
2.
The tuition fee and special fee for the first year has to be paid at the time
of Admission. The tuition fee and special fee for subsequent year has to be
paid before the fourth working day of the next academic year. Fine will be
levied from defaulters who are not paying the fee at proper time.
3.
Fee for SNA activities, Sports day, Cultural day, PTA etc. has to be paid
separately.
4.
Hostel fee has to be paid at the beginning of each academic year.
5.
Mess fee in the hostel has to be paid before the 5th day of each month.
6.
Fee once remitted will not be refunded. Liquidated damage equal to 2 times the
annual tuition fee paid by the student for the first year has to be paid to the
College, if any student leaves after the last date for closing of admission to
the P.B BSc Nursing course asper the guidelines published in GO(MS) No.
233/2012/H&FWD dated 21.07.2012
DRESSCODE
1.
The students attending classes and assigned duty shall wear the prescribed
uniform.
2.
Students shall wear neat and decent dress during off duty hours inside the
campus. They shall not wear semi transparent or revealing dress in the campus.
For ladies Saree/Churidar is only permitted in the college.
3.
They shall not use excess jewellery.
4.
Male students have to do proper shave & hair cut.
INSTRUCTION FOR
FILLING THE DOWNLOADED APPLICATION FORM
1.
Candidates are strictly directed to go through the guidelines before filling
the application form.
2.
The downloaded application form duly filled with copies of certificates and fee
of Rs. 850/- as demand draft in favour of General Manager, EMS Memorial
Co-operative Hospital & Research Centre may be send by post or in person so
as to reach office of College of Paramedical Sciences on or before 15th September 2012.
The DD should be payable at Perinthalmanna
3. The
