ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
A candidate should
have passed three year degree examinations in arts / science / commerce of Sambalpur University or an examination recognized as
equivalent thereto by the Academic Council of Sambalpur University with Honours
in the concerned subject / allied subject or pass with 45% marks in aggregate.
However, the eligibility criteria for specific courses have been mentioned in
the Prospectus Details of both regular and self-financing courses are available
in our website: http://eadmissionsuniv.ac.in or www.suniv.ac.in
For students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, the
prescribed qualifying marks for admission to P.G. Courses / Self-financing
Courses shall not be insisted upon.
Candidates who have appeared the
qualifying examinations and results awaited, are also eligible to apply. Such
candidates should produce the results of the qualifying examination on or
before the date of entrance test otherwise his/her application for admission
shall be rejected.
HOW TO APPLY
> The candidates
should download the Prospectus for PG. Regular or Self-financing Courses,
2013-14
> The candidates
should download the Challan Form and deposit Rs.500/- in any branch of State
Bank of India towards processing fee. The bank will provide a Journal No.
against the deposit.
> The candidates
should then register himself/herself (through the appropriate link) by
providing the following information;
• Name of the course
• Name of the
candidate
• email ID
• Journal No.
(provided by the Bank)
• Password (candidate
to create)
The information as
above are vital and the candidate should carefully note down those for future
use.
> The candidates can
then fillup the form online After completion of all the fields in the form, the
candidates should click the submit button. At this a page will open with all
the information of the candidates that he/she has filled in. The candidates
then must take a printout of this page and send it to the respective Head of
the Department or the Course Coordinator of respective Self-financing Course as
the case may be, Sambalpur University. Jyoti Vihar-768019. Sambalpur (ODISHA)
along with the required documents by 16.06.2013 No application received
thereafter shall be entertained The University authority shall not be held
responsible for any postal delay.
