Selection:
Selection is based on the marks
secured in the Entrance Examination (100 multiple choice questions (MCQ) with
50% weightage) and marks in qualifying
P.G Degree (with 50% weightage).
Application
The cost of application is Rs. 500/-
(Rs. 250/- for SC / ST on submission of copy of Community certificate)
Application and Prospectus can be
obtained from the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi on written
requisition by mentioning the subject of MPhil program along with a Demand
Draft drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, Alagappa University’ Payable at
‘Karaikudi’.

should be accompanied by a DD towards the application cost. Candidates appearing for the Final year /
semester examination can also apply.
However, selection will be based on cumulative marks in all semesters /
years.
