"Advanced Vaccinology Course in India" ADMISSIONS
2013-2014
Department of Community Health, Christian Medical College, Vellore has
invited applications for admission to "Advanced Vaccinology Course in
India" to be conducted during September 16th - 21st, 2013.
The course aims to provide a comprehensive overview of Vaccinology, and
strengthen the capacity within India in this field. The course will cover
aspects of vaccinology, from basic immunology, the process of development of a
vaccine, the licensure and regulatory requirements, the process of introducing
a new vaccine into a country, vaccine trials, and translation of research into
policy.
Anyone working in the field of Vaccinology with knowledge of biology
can apply for the course. The course is
aimed at specialists in Infectious Diseases, paediatricians, physicians,
research nurses, team members of vaccine trials, members of contract (or
clinical) research organizations (CRO), vaccine industry professionals.
