The
Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is a centrally funded Deemed
University that works towards creating an ecologically sustainable, equitable
and just society. TISS Mumbai through its 9 schools and 5 independent centres,
along with campuses in Tuljapur (Maharashtra), Guwahati and Hyderabad offers 44
highly competitive, socially relevant M.A. / M.Sc. / M.RH. / M.H.A. programmes
in inter and trans-disciplinary areas of social, health, management,
development, habitat and climate sciences. The Institute has over 160
full-time, highly accomplished faculty members involved in teaching, research,
policy work and institution building activities. Currently, the Institute has
