Applications are invited by Anna University,
Chennai for admission to following M.Sc. (2 years) and M.Phil. Degree
Programmes, offered in the University Departments of College of Engineering
Guindy and Madras Institute of Technology campuses, Anna University, Chennai -
25 for the year 2014 - 15.
M.Sc. (2 Years):
1. Applied Mathematics
2. Materials Science/Medical Physics
3. Applied Chemistry
4. Applied Geology
5. Electronic Media (SS)
6. Science and Technology Communication (SS)
7. Environmental Science (SS)
M.Phil:
1. Mathematics
2. Physics
3. Chemistry

ELIGIBILITY
FOR ADMISSION
M.Sc.:
The candidate must have passed the degree in the
relevant field with (10+2+3 / 4 years) pattern from a recognised University.
M.Phil:
The candidates must have passed the Postgraduate
degree in the relevant field in 10+2+3+2 years pattern from a recognised
University.
APPLICATIONS:
The candidates can register through internet by
logging on to www.annauniv.edu. The procedure for registration is available in
Anna University website. The candidates should furnish all the required details
while filling up the online application form. The candidate shall take the
print out of the filled-in applications and submit to “The Director, Centre for
Admissions, Anna University, Chennai – 25” with required enclosures and a
Demand Draft for Rs. 700/- for General category (Rs. 350/- for SC/SCA/ST
candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) in person or by post.
The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘The
Director (Admissions), Anna University’ payable at Chennai and should be
obtained from any nationalised bank on or after 27.04.2014.
