National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, for following Post Graduate Diploma and Certificate courses, has invited applications from eligible candidates who wish to seek admission for the academic session 2014-15

COURSES & ELIGIBILITY:

1. [ANSI (ST)] P.G. Diploma in Sugar Technology -

B.Sc. with Phy. Chem. & Math or Bachelor Degree in Chem. Engg.

2. [ANSI (SE)] P.G. Diploma in Sugar Engineering -

Engg. Degree in Mech./ Prod./ Elect./ Electronics/ Instrumentation or A.M.I.E (Institute of Engineers, India)

3. [DIFAT] P.G. Diploma in Alcohol Technology -

B.Sc. with Chemistry / Applied chem./ Ind. chem. or Bio-Tech. or Bio-Chem. as one of the subjects. or B.Tech. in Bio-Tech.

Exp:- One year experience in a distillery or brewery or in a fermentation industry on any technical post alongwith nomination.

4. [SBCC] Sugar Boiling Certificate Course -

Matriculate/ High School with Science/ Agriculture

Exp:- One season experience of pan-operation in a vacuum pan sugar factory along with nomination.

5. [SECC] Sugar Engineering Certificate Course -

Diploma in engineering in Mech. / Elect. / Electronics/ Instrumentation from a recognized Technical School / Polytechnic alongwith with nomination.

6. [PHCMS] Pre-harvest Cane Maturity Survey Certificate Course -

Intermediate with Science/ Agriculture or equv. Exp:- One year experience in a Sugar Factory laboratory or field work.

7. [CCQC] Certificate Course in Quality Control -

12th Standard in Science (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 50% marks).

8. F.N.S.I. in Sugar Technology or Sugar Chemistry

9. F.N.S.I. in Sugar Engineering

10. F.N.S.I. in Fermentation Technology

Application for F.N.S.I. in Sugar Technology & Sugar Engineering should be sponsored by a sugar factory for carrying out the research pertaining to this course. Similarly, application for F.N.S.I. in Fermentation Technology should be sponsored by a distillery or brewery industry for carrying out the research work pertaining to this course

Final year appearing candidates may also apply.

Online Application Fee – for General /Rural /Defence Candidates is Rs. 1000/- and for SC /ST Candidates is Rs. 800/-. Application fee to be sent in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Director, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur” payable at SBI, Kalyanpur, Kanpur (IFSC Code: SBIN0001962)

Last date for receipt of downloaded print outs of duly filled & signed application forms: 26th May 2014 (5.00 PM)

Downloading of Admit Cards from web site for Admission Test: 30th May 2014 onwards (10.30 A.M)

Date of Admission Test for ANSI (ST), ANSI (SE), DIFAT, SBCC, CCQC: 8th June 2014 (Sunday) to be held at Kanpur, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Patna & Puna
