Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun
has invited applications for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in
Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation Specialization: NHDRM course of
Academic Year 2015-16.
Who can apply?
This course is designed for mid-career professional
and bright students with technical and science background interested in
Geoinformatics and Disaster Management. The applicants are required to have
passed with First Division in any one of the following subjects. For working
government servants, graduation in science with 2 years of experience is
required for PG Diploma course.
Minimum Qualification:
MSc in Math. / Chem. / Bot. / Zool./ Geol. / Earth
Sci. / Env. Sci. / Marine Sci. / Atm. Sci. / Agri. / Master in Geog. (with BSc
at Grad, level) OR BArch / BPlann / MPlann / Master in Geog. (with Science at
HSc level) / OR BE / BTech in Civil Engg. / Agril. Engg. / Env. Engg. / Geosci.
/ Geoexplor. / Geo-Engg. / Earthquake Engg. / IT / CS / ECE OR BSc (4-yr Forestry
/ Agri., course) OR Master in Disaster Mgmt. / Forest / Agri. Officers (with
BSc deg.) / MCA (with BSc in Sci.).
