Invites Applications for Ph.D. Program of Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR): August 2013 Session

The National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), a constituent laboratory of CSIR under the Ministry of Science & Technology (Government of India), is amongst the foremost oceanographic research institutions in the Indian Ocean region. NIO now invites applications for Ph.D. Program under Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) from eligible candidates.

Eligibility:
Ph.D. (Science): A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/Medicine or B.S (of 4 year duration) or a Master’s degree in Science having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies, e.g. CSIR, UGC, DBT, DST etc.), INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships.

Available seats: Maximum 15

Note: CSIR Scientists recruited 2009 onwards/ Existing Research Fellows/ Projects Assistants (working at CSIR labs for a minimum of one year) who fulfil the qualifications are also eligible to apply.
