ADMISSION NOTICE 2013-2014
Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University has invited applications for
admission into following Degree Programme for the academic year 2013 -14.
BSc (Hons.) Home Science
BSc (Hons.) Fashion Technology
BSc (Hons.) Food Science & Nutrition
Eligibility:
1 BSc (Hons) Home Science (only Girls)
(a) A pass in two year Intermediate examination (10+2) with BPC / MPC /
MBPC subjects.
(b) Women candidates passed in a three year Diploma course in Home
Science can also apply for admission into BSc (Hons) Home Science course under
10% supernumerary seats.
2 BSc (Hons) Fashion Technology (for Boys & Girls)
A pass in two year Intermediate examination (10+2) including
Intermediate Vocational & Polytechnic (Home Science related). Out of 40
seats - 20 students shall be admitted from the Intermediate vocational course
of Commercial Garment Designing and Making (CGDM)
3 BSc (Hons) Food Science & Nutrition (for Boys and Girls)
A pass in two year Intermediate examination (10 + 2) with BPC / MBPC
subjects or (10+2) Vocational with Home Science related subjects / Nutrition /
Biochemistry / Human Physiology / Polytechnic (Home Science)
Age:
The candidates for admission to this course in the University shall be
required to have completed 17 years of age on 31st December of the year of
admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25
years in respect of SC and ST candidates and 27 for Physically Challenged
candidates.

The candidates for admission into this course are required to submit the
following certificates / documents along with application forms.
1) Certified copy of the Pass Certificate cum Memorandum of Marks
obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination (Intermediate / 3years
Diploma in Home Science)
2) A certified copy of the SSLC or SSC or HSC certificate, showing the
evidence of the Date of Birth.
3) In case of the candidates belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled
Castes and Scheduled Tribes, latest certified copy of the Social Status
Certificate to be issued by the competent authority.
4) Rural area certificate in case of those coming from Rural areas, the
candidate must produce a certificate of schooling in Non-Municipal areas for a
minimum period of any four years from 1st class to 12th class (Form-I).
5) A crossed DD for Rs.800/- (Rs.400/- in case of SC / ST / PH
candidates) towards registration fee drawn on any nationalized bank in favour
of Comptroller, ANGRAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad.
6) Xerox copies of Bonafied / Study certificates for VI to XII Class.
