Ph.D ADMISSION NOTICE 2013-2014

Applications are invited for Ph.D. Programme for the year 2013-2014 on the prescribed Application form available with Arts faculty Office. The minimum passing marks in the Entrance lest will be 50% for General Category and 45% for SC/STOBC categories. The admission will be subject to availability of seals and merit .if the student. The students having cleared the Entrance lest will be called for personal interview.

Candidates are advised to read carefully the rules, regulation and instruction given the Admission Brochure while completing the application form.

Details of Entrance Test: The test will have focus on following areas
Research Aptitude 
MCQ in Research Methods: 50 Items   50 marks
Review of Article for testing of critical thinking ability:  15 marks
It will focus on: Conceptual and methodological issues, contribution to theory, and practical implications.
Research Proposal (brief 200-250 words). Stating Research Problem Outlining Context, Research objectives, and Rationale and Proposed method 15 marks

Logical Reasoning: MCQ 20 items    20 marks
Total Marks: 100
Duration of the test 3 hours

Submission of final synopsis along with consent of supervisor  August 21. 2013

Submission of final synopsis along wilh consent of supervisor for (2nd list, if any) August 27. 2013
