MBA/MCA Admission Notice 2014
Applications are invited by Dibrugarh University
from the eligible Candidates for admission into the MCA & BCA Programmes
for the Academmic Session 2014-2015.
Eligibility:
a) MCA: Graduate in any discipline with a minimum
aggregate of 50% with Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 or at Degree
Level and/or with a BCA degree (with Mathematics as one of the subjects). Students
appearing in the Bachelor’s Degree Final Examination, the result of which is
awaited may also apply. Candidates eligible for admission shall be selected
through an Entrance Test.
b) BCA: Candidates who have passed the Higher
Secondary (10+2) or any equivalent Examination recognized by Dibrugarh
University securing minimum of 45% marks in aggregate with Mathematics/
Commercial Arithmetic/Statistics as one of the subjects.
Admission to the BCA Programme will be on merit
basis which will be displayed on 13th June 2014 on the websites given below:
www.ccsportal.org & www.dibru.ac.in
Admission to the BCA Programme is scheduled on 19th
June, 2014.
Other Important Information:
1. Application Forms and Prospectus can be obtained
from the following Centre/ College on payment of Rs 500/-* only:
a) Centre for Computer Studies, D.U. (for both the
programmes)
*The cash shall have to be deposited at Dibrugarh
University Cash Counter.
b) J.B. College, Jorhat (forms for MCA only).
2. Application Forms may also be downloaded from
the website www.ccsdu.org or www.dibru.ac.in. Candidates (for MCA Programme)
willing to appear at NERIM are advised to download and send the dully filled in
form through at the Office of the Centre for Computer Studies, Dibrugarh
University, PIN 786 004.
3. The Test Centres for MCA Programme are:
a) Centre for Computer Studies, Dibrugarh
University
b) J.B. College, Jorhat
c) NERIM, Guwahati
4. The downloaded Application Forms should be
accompanied by a bank draft of Rs.500/- drawn in favour of Registrar, Dibrugarh
University, payable at State Bank of India, Dibrugarh University Branch
(code-2051) at the time of submission.
5. The last date for submission of the duly
filled-in Application Forms along with the relevant testimonials at Office of
the Centre for Computer Studies, Dibrugarh University OR J.B. College, Jorhat
is June, 13,
2014. The Candidates of the MCA Programme intending to appear the
Test at NERIM, Guwahati are suggested to submit their Applications at the
Office of the Centre for Computer Studies, Dibrugarh University.
