Admission to B.Tech Course
2014-2015 Under NRI Quota.
Applications
are invited for admission to B.Tech Course under NRI Quota in the Calicut
University Institute of Engineering and Technology in the following branches
for the Year 2014-2015.

The
seats under NRI Quota will be filled up from the rank list prepared by CUIET
from the applicants on the basis of the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry
and Mathematics in the higher secondary examination.
Only
those candidates who apply for admission in the prescribed form along with the
required fee are eligible for admission under NRI Quota.
Educational
Qualifications
1)
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination , Kerala , or
Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics
separately , and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together
are eligible for admission.
Application
Form And Fees
1)
Application form and prospectus can be downloaded either from the
University Website or CUIET Website. Applications should be accompanied with a
fee of Rs.1,000/-.
2) Fee can be
remitted way of DD drawn in favour of Finance Officer, University of Calicut,
and payable at SBT Calicut University Branch.
Documents
to be enclosed along with Application
1) Attested copy
of Higher Secondary Examination
2) Attested copy
of any one of the following to prove NRI status
a) Copy of the employment certificate
b) Copy of relevant pages of passport
containing visa details.
c) Certificate issued by a Scheduled bank
stating that he/she is an NRI holding an NRI account
.
IMPORTANT
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Fees
Fee structure decided by the Govt.for 2013-14
is as follows
Tuition fee Rs. 1,00,000/-
Refundable Deposit Rs. 1,25,000/-
The fee for
2014-15 will be charged as per the order of University/Govt. of Kerala
2) Student who
discontinues his/ her studies and leaves the college after the closure of admission
is liable to pay the liquidated damages as per the existing rules of
university.
3) The completed
application together with fee and supporting documents should reach the PRINCIPAL
,INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY , KOHINOOR, THENHIPALAM .P.O. ,
MALAPPURAM- 673636 on or before 12-06-2014.
