RADIOTHERAPY TECHNOLOGY COURSE 2014
1. Admission
Procedure: A total of 5 Candidates will be selected. Admission will be done on
the
basis of written
entrance test and interview. No candidate will be admitted on any ground unless
he/she has
appeared in the entrance test and interview and declared successful. The
reservation of seats of various categories will be according to U.P. Government
rules.
2. Entrance Test
will comprise of multiple choice question of 12th standard or equivalent and
successful
candidates on the basis of written test will face an interview board. Twenty
five
candidates will
be called in order of merit and five will be selected.
3. A candidate will
be eligible for admission to B.Sc. Part I Radiotherapy Technology Course if
he/she has
passed intermediate examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with
minimum
50% marks.
4. Maximum age
limit is 26 years ( as on 30th June of that year ).
5. Candidates
applying for the entrance test have to deposit a fee of Rs. 1500/ each for
general and OBC category and Rs 1200/ each for SC/ST category payable through
Bank Draft along with the application form. The Demand Draft should be made in
favour of Controller of Examination, K.G. Medical University U.P. Lucknow,
Payable at Lucknow.
6. No T.A./D.A.
will be admissible for appearing in written examination/interview.
7. In the event of
more than one candidate securing same marks, the merit will be decided on the
basis of highest
marks obtained by the candidate in the 12th standard or equivalent examination as per
the following order: (1) Physics, (2) Chemistry, (3) Biology.
8. The candidates
declared successfull/passed in interview will have to take admission within
stipulated time.
9. If successful
candidates fail to take admission within stipulated time then his/her
candidates will be assumed to be cancelled and next wait listed candidates will
be called for admission accordingly
10. A grace period
of 3 days will be given to take admission in case of unavoidable ircumstances
but candidates have to report for the same within stipulated time for the
admission to the respective authorities.
11. Tuition fee of
Rs. 30,000/- per year would be chargeable from all candidates on admission to
the course.
12. Caution money of
Rs. 10,000/- will be deposited at the time of admission which will be refunded (interest
free) after they have passed.
