The CSIR C-MMACS, is a premier research institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications for Ph.D. Programme under Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR)from eligible candidates. Eligibility:

Ph.D. (Science): A Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology (of 4 year duration) or a Master's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Geophysics, Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography, Geoinformatics and Environmental Sciences having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies, e.g. CSIR, UGC, DBT, DSTetc.), INSPIRE or other equivalentfellowships.

Ph.D. (Engineering): A Master's degree in Engineering/Technology or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with exceptionally good academic record or a Master's degree in Sciences with a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR NET/NBHM or valid CSIR-SRForequivalentfellowship.

Note: CSIR Scientists recruited 2009 onwards/Existing Research Fellows/Projects Assistants (working at CSIR labs for a minimum of one year) who fulfil the qualifications are also eligible to apply.

Admission criteria for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped candidates is relaxable as per Gol rules. How to Apply
