ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF RESEARCH FELLOWS
Applications are invited for the award of three
Junior Research Fellowships, which are sanctioned by the Government of India,
Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Department of
Food and Public Distribution under the Research & Training Scholarship
Scheme for carrying out advanced research in the following divisions of this
Institute.
1. Biochemistry Division…………………. ONE
2. Physical Chemistry Division ……………TWO
A candidate may apply for Junior Research
Fellowship (JRF) in one division only.
S.No---Designation----Emoluments per month for the
first two year as JRF----Emoluments per month after two year as SRF
1. Jr. Research Fellow(JRF) Rs. 12,000/- Rs. 14,000/-
Basis of assessment for SRF will be on candidate’s
research progress. The total tenure as J.R.F. and S.R.F. shall not exceed four
years.
All J.R.F will be provided hostel accommodation
& will not be eligible for drawing H.R.A.
EDUCATIONAL
QUALIFICATIONS:
A
1. The candidate must be M.Sc. in Biochemistry for
J.R.F. in Biochemistry.
2. The candidate must be M.Sc. in Chemistry/
Physical Chemistry for J.R.F. in Physical Chemistry.
B
The candidate must be UGC/CSIR-NET qualified.
AGE LIMIT
& RELAXATION :-
Below 30 years as on last date of submission of
application (Relaxation up to 05 years for SC/ST candidate).

SELECTION
PROCEDURE:-
The selection will be made on the basis of
Interview of short listed candidates. The short listed candidate will be
individually informed about the exact date of interview to be held at the
Institute.
HOW TO
SUBMIT APPLICATION FORM AND LAST DATE :-
Downloaded Application form, complete it in all
respects, with attested copies of the mark sheet /certificates for educational
qualification & age proof ,should reach Director, National Sugar Institute,
Kanpur 208017 on
or before 30/11/2012 The application form must be sent by Registered
/Speed post only, alongwith a D/D for Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of Director,
National Sugar Institute, Kanpur payable at SBI, Kalyanpur, Kanpur.
