PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology,
Design & Manufacturing, Jabalpur has invited applications for admission to
doctoral programmes for the Year 2015-16
Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.) programmes in
a. Computer Science and Engineering
b. Electronics and Communication Engineering
c. Mechanical Engineering
d. Design
e. Physics
f. Mathematics
Eligibility for Admission
PhD (Regular, Sponsored and External):
Computer Science & Engineering (CSE):
M Tech/ ME in Computer Science & Engineering or
Information Technology or a similar discipline with minimum marks/ CPI in
Qualifying Degree.
Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE):
M Tech/ ME in Electronics/ Electronics &
Communication Engineering/ Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline with
minimum marks/ CPI in Qualifying Degree.
Mechanical Engineering (ME):
M Tech / ME in Mechanical Engineering / Production
Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Production and Industrial Engineering or
a similar discipline with minimum marks / CPI in Qualifying Degree.
Design(DS):
M Des with minimum marks/ CPI in Qualifying Degree
Minimum % of marks in Qualifying Degree for Ph.D.:
65% marks or CPI of 6.5 (on a 10-point scale) for General Category applicants
and minimum passing marks for SC/ST/OBC applicants.
Candidates who are on permanent role in NITs,
IIITs, Central Universities, Govt. Universities, Defence R&D organization,
PSUs for at least two years shall be eligible to apply for admission under the
category of External Registration Programme

Filled up Application Forms along with a DD for
Rs.500/-for GEN/OBC & Rs.300/-for SC/ST In favour of Registrar, PDPM
IIITDM, Jabalpur, issued by any nationalized bank, payable at Jabalpur must be
received through Speed/ Registered Post
only. Applicants must write the programme and the discipline applied for, on
the cover of the envelope. The list of short-listed candidates and other announcements
regarding admission will be uploaded on website www.iiitdmj.ac.in
The Demand Draft (in original), printed online
application form, one page research proposal (in 300-350 wards) along with all
supporting documents must be sent latest by 15th April, 2015 for consideration
during July-December Semester and November 30th, 2015 for consideration during
January to July Semester.
