Eligibility
Citizenship: Indian nationals can apply under the
General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals
supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.
To qualify under the NRI Category, the candidate
must be an NRI or supported by either Parents or Brothers or Sisters or Spouse
having an NRI status.
Note: Candidates supported by cousin
brother/sister, uncle, aunt, brother/sister-in-law or any other person will not
be accepted.
Qualification
Pass in BDS degree or an equivalent degree
recognized by the Dental Council of India.
Internship
Candidates
completing their compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March, 2015
are eligible.
Note:
Candidates completing internship after 31st March, 2015 are not eligible for
admission in this academic year.
Registration
Candidates should have obtained permanent
registration with the Dental Council of India or any of the State Dental
Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of admission.
Admissions Procedure
The candidate will have to appear in a PG entrance
examination either conducted by the State Government for State quota or by the
Association of Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Uttarakhand for
management quota.
All candidates can appear in Combined Medical &
Dental PG Entrance Examination 2015.

Seema Dental College is permitted to admit 100
students for BDS Course in each academic year.
Admission to Govt. Quota Seats is through
Uttarakhand PMT (conducted by the State Government).
Admission to Management quota seats is through
Common Pre-Medical Entrance Exam (CPMEE) [(In accordance with the guidelines /
principles laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, an association of
private colleges of Uttaranchal was formed known as Uttaranchal Council of
Entrance Examination (UCEE)].
The seats are filled through a merit list prepared
on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Examination.
Eligibility
The Candidate shall have completed the age of 17
years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the BDS course.
The candidate must have passed intermediate (10 +
2) or an equivalent examination after a period of 12 years of study. The last
two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
from a recognised board / university and must have passed in all the above
subjects.
Selection Criteria to BDS Course
The selection of a candidate to Seema Dental
College & Hospital shall be based solely on the merit of the candidate.
Candidate for admission to BDS course must have
passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually.
And must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in the PCB at the
qualifying examination. In respect of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBCs
the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together in the
qualifying examination be 40% in lieu of 50 % for general candidates.
The candidate appearing for State Govt. Seats shall
qualify the eligibility criteria specified by the Uttarakhand Pre- Medical test
conducting body.
All candidates can appear in Common Pre-Medical
Entrance Examination-2015. Entrance Examination Forms for BDS are available
now. You can fill the same online or you can get it by post. For more

Instructions
No refund of fee is provisioned for on withdrawal/
cancellation of admission.
The admission shall be considered cancelled if the
student doesn't report to the College within the prescribed time.
Appearing for the written test does not confer any
right on the candidate to claim admission to the BDS Course.
The candidate who has appeared in the qualifying
examination the result of which has not been declared, he can appear for the
entrance examination and in case of selection for admission to the BDS course,
he shall not be admitted to the course until he fulfills the eligibility
criteria.
At the time of admission, the selected candidate
has to fill an admission form and will be provided an instruction manual which
is to be strictly followed during the stay at the college campus and during the
entire course.
In case the candidate fails to submit the required
documents, admission shall be treated as cancelled and no request for refund of
fees shall be entertained.
The decision of the Principal of Seema Dental
College will be final and binding.
Payment of Fee
Tuition
Fee as per
directive received from Govt. of India / Govt. of Uttarakhand.
College Fee as prescribed.
Examination Fee as prescribed.
Enrolment Fee as prescribed.
Fee from Failed Students: An extra fee will be
charged per attempt per subject. The additional attempts may be due to
detention, wilful absence or failure in any professional examination.
All the fees are to be submitted at the time of
admission. The fees for the next session should be deposited before the
commencement of Professional Examination i.e. by 31st of July. Fee once paid
shall not be refunded.
