Applications are invited for the following posts to be filled:- 

1. Assistant – 1 post (UR) 

Pay Band PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200 

Essential educational qualification – 

Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with 5 years experience in a Govt./Semi-Govt. 

organisation or a Public Sector undertaking/Autonomous organisation dealing with establishment 

matter and or accounts. 

Age Limit – 28 years (Age relaxation as per Govt./ICHR Norms) 

2. Library & Information Assistant – 2 posts (1-UR, 1-OBC) 

Pay Band PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200 

Essential educational qualification – 

 (a) Bachelor’s degree 

(b) Degree in Library Science or a diploma for which degree is an admission requirement 

(c) At least 2 years experience in Degree Library of College/University/Govt. Department/Autonomous 

 Organisations. 

Age Limit – 28 years (Age relaxed as per Govt./ICHR Norms) 

 3. Junior Hindi Translator – 1 post (UR) 

Pay Band PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200 

Essential educational qualification – 

Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or 

as the medium of examination at the degree level; 

OR 

Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or 

as the medium or examination at the degree level; 

OR 

Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi 

medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree 

level; 

OR 

Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English 

medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree 

level; 

OR 

Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and 

English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other 

as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level; 

AND 

Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two 

years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State 

Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

  4. Staff Car Driver – 1 post (UR) 

Pay Band PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1900

Essential educational qualification – 

For Direct Recruitment – 

 At least Matriculate, should possess valid driving licence with 2 years experience of 

driving 

 Age Limit – 30 years (Age relaxation as per Govt./ICHR Norms) 

 5. Office Attendant – 5 posts (1-ST, 2-OBC, 1-SC, 1-UR) 

Pay Band PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800

 6. Watch & Ward Attendant – 1 post (OBC) 

Pay Band PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800

General Conditions: - 

1. The post applied for should be clearly indicated in the application and also superscribed on the envelope containing the application. 

2. Candidates working in Government organization/PSU should forward their applications through proper channel. 

3. Age relaxation would be provided as per the rules. 

4. Any attempt to influence the Council in any manner would disqualify the candidate. 

5. Mere submission of application & fulfilling the eligibility criterion would give no right to any person for interview/selection. 

6. ICHR reserves the right to apply any higher criteria to shortlist the candidates, 

7. Number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending upon the situation at the time of recruitment, 

8. ICHR reserves the right not to fill up any post without assigning any reason, 

9. Selection Committee/Chairman, ICHR may relax any eligibility conditions in case of deserving candidates, 10. A panel/merit list drawn up shall be valid for one year.  

Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The ICHR reserves the absolute 

right to decide as to whether to hold written test, skill test or personal interview for selection of the 

candidates for respective posts. The decision of the appointment authority will be final in this 

regard. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
