MBA ADMISSION NOTICE 2014-2016
Online Applications are
invited by Indian Institute of Technology, Povai, Mumbai, for admission to
Master of Management Program of 2014 session till Monday, February 3, 2014
Eligibility:
The candidates securing
a minimum aggregate of 60% [CGPI = 6.5/10] over all the semesters of their
Bachelor degree in engineering (or equivalent) or Master’s degree in Science
(and first class Bachelor degree) are
eligible for admission to the Master of Management Programme. There is a
relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent in CGPI for SC / ST candidates.
Those appearing for the
final degree examination can also apply. The admission in such cases will be
subject to their fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria.
Candidates from Abroad:
The candidates holding a
foreign passport, or Indian passport but studying/working abroad continuously
for at least the last two years, and having a valid GMAT score are included in
this category.
They should have an
undergraduate degree or equivalent in Engineering (e.g. BS with major in any
branch of Engineering, BE, BTech, etc.) with First Class (grade point average
of 6.5 on a scale of 10) or a graduate degree in any branch of Science (e.g.
MS, MSc etc.) with First Class (grade point average of 6.5 in a scale of 10) at
Bachelor and Masters level.
Those appearing for the
final degree examination can also apply. The admission in such cases will be
subject to their fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria. Work experience
is desirable but not essential.
The candidates holding a
foreign passport should qualify in TOEFL or IELTS.
Application Modality:
Online applications can
be submitted on http://portal.iitb.ac.in/mgmtapp/enterEmail.jsp
Payment: Both Demand
Draft (DD) and online payment options (SBI online banking OR Credit Cards) are
available. Either DD payment OR Online payment can be made only after final
submission of Online Application Form. Application Fee is Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/-
for SC / ST & Female Applicants). PH candidates have to apply under their
respective category.
On completion of ONLINE
Application Form, please submit the Demand Draft (if not paid online) in person
at the counter of Academic Office, IIT Bombay or mail by Registered Post or
Speed Post only to The Deputy Registrar (Academic), Academic Office, IIT
Bombay, Powai, Mumbai-400 076 so as to reach the Academic Office, IIT Bombay on
or before 4-2-2014. Write ‘M.MGMT (2014 - 2016) ONLINE Application’ on top of
the envelope.
Also, write your name,
registration ID and CAT registration number on backside of demand draft.
