ADMISSION NOTICE 2014
Applications
are invited from residents of Jharkhnnd State (80% seats) and other States (20%
seats) for admission to the following courses:
A. Diploma in Food Processing:
Intake capacity-10, Duration-2 semester plus one month training (one year plus one
month) Qualification-intermediate (preferably science stream) Fee: Rs.3800/-
(Rs. Three thousand eight hundred) only (at the time of admission) plus
Rs.5000/- (Five thousand) only (general candidate) & Rs.4000/- Rs. Four
thousand) only (SC/ST candidate) per Semester. Commencement of Programme- July
2014
B. Certificate Course in Fruit and
Vegetable Processing Technology: Intake Capacity-10,
Duration-4 months, Qualification-Matriculation, Fee: Rs.5000/- (Rs. Five
thousand) only. Commencement of Programme- July 2014.
C. Certificate Course in Bakery and
Confectionary: Intake Capacity- 10, Duration- 4 months. Qualification:
Matriculation, Fee: Rs. 5000/- Rs. Five thousand) only. Commencement of
Programme July 2014.
D. Diploma in Aquaculture:
Intake Capacity- 10, Duration-2 Semester (one year) Qualification- Intermediate
(Preferably Science stream). Fee: Rs. 3800'- (Rs. Three thousand eight hundred)
only (at the time of admission) Plus Rs. 5000/- (Rs. Five thousand) only
(general candidate) & Rs. 4000/- (Rs. Four thousand) only from (SC/ST
candidate) per Semester.
Commencement
of Programme- July 2014.
E. Certificate in Aquaculture:
Intake Capacity- 10, Duration- 3 months, Qualification: Matriculation, Fee: Rs,
5000/- (Rs. Five thousand) only.

The application form may be obtained from the office of the Dean.
Faculty of Agriculture (for A.B&CV Faculty of Veterinary Science &
Animal Husbandry (for D&E). Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi-834006.
on payment of Rs.3S0/- (Rs. Three hundred fifty) only in the form of D.D, in
favour of "Comptroller", Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi from
01.06.2014 onwards. Complete
application should reach to the respective Deans by 30.06.2014. The
reservation of seats will be in accordance with Jharkhand Government Policy.

and can be submitted along with the

before 30.06.2014.
