M.Pharm/B.Pharm Admission Notice 2014-2015
Applications in prescribed form are invited by
Dibrugarh University for admission into the following programmes for the
session 2014-15:
1. Two Year (4 semesters) M. Pharm. (Master of Pharmacy) in
Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
The intake of candidates in different
specializations are as follows:
Pharmaceutics: Total intake: 08 (04- General, 02-
sponsored, 02 ? SC/ST)
Pharmaceutical Chemistry: Total intake: 06
Pharmacognosy: Total intake: 06 (05-General 01-
SC/ST)
Eligibility: B.Pharm. Degree with minimum of 55%
marks from AICTE recognized Institute/College/University. Preference will be
given to GPAT qualified candidates. Admission in the Sponsored seats will be
filled up as per approved rules of the University.

c) Date for declaration of merit list of
the Short listed candidates : 10. 07.2014
d) Date of Counseling and Admission : 21.07.2014

2. Four Year (8 Semesters) B. Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)
Eligibility:
i) H.S. (10+2) Examination passed in Science Stream
under AHSEC or any equivalent examination recognized by Dibrugarh University
securing not less than 50% (45% for S.C. and S.T.) marks in aggregate in
Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
OR
ii) Passed the two-Year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.
Pharm.) Examination of Dibrugarh University or any equivalent examination
recognized by the PCI and AICTE securing not less than 50% marks in the
aggregate.
The intake of candidates (40 nos.) from different
states and against different categories is as follows:
Assam : 07 (General-03, SC-01, ST-01, Diploma in
Pharmacy-02)
Nagaland : 02
Mizoram : 02
Manipur : 02
Meghalaya : 02
Arunachal Pradesh : 02
Tripura : 02
Endowment Category : 21
(Candidates of any state with eligibility
conditions as stated in para (i) and (ii) above and will be selected on the
basis of merit).

How to Apply:
a) The Application Form along with the Copies of
Bank Challan are available in the website: www.dibru.ac.in.
The intending eligible candidates shall have to
download the same from the website. However, the applicants may collect their
copies of the Information Brochure from the Office of the Deputy Registrar
(Academic), Dibrugarh University from 24.06.2014.
b) The candidates shall have to deposit Rs.300.00/-
(Rupees Three Hundred)+ Rs.20/-(Rupees Twenty) only as Application Fee+ Bank
Charge at the Account of the State Bank of India mentioned in the prescribed
Bank Challan, which can be tendered through any Branch of the State Bank of
India. Prescribed copies of the Bank Challan are available with the Application
Form.
The last date for submission of the Application Form with all
requisite testimonials and the University Copy of the Bank Challan is June 30,
2014.
