The 3-year degree, B.Sc. - International Hospitality Management, in collaboration with Dublin Institute of Technology, Dublin, provides a challenging program that will help the students to develop a critical, analytical, and evaluative approach to hospitality management.

The students begin with a solid grounding in fundamentals of hospitality service, followed by courses in managerial competencies for skills, specializations and advanced management skills.

The course is designed to produce graduates with all the necessary technical, operational and management skills to meet the demand of the international hospitality industry. Our education is planned to enable students learn and practice the core skills identified by the hospitality industry as essential for career success globally. These include food and beverage service, culinary skills, rooms division, leadership, teamwork, motivation, customer service, finance, marketing, human resources and cultural awareness. The education model is modern yet flexible to accommodate latest trends/innovation in hospitality.

Bachelor of Science - International Hospitality Management will be awarded by the Goa University and also by Dublin Institute of Technology, Dublin.

Admission Procedure

ELIGIBILITY:

A candidate who has passed Standard 10+2 or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognized board in India/other countries is eligible to apply for B.Sc. in International Hospitality Management, a 3-year degree course.

Students who wish to apply for admissions, will have to sit for a VMSIIHE Written Entrance Test at the campus on a specified date, followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Eligible candidates are required to register themselves for the written examination by downloading the application form from our website. Upon receipt of the completed application form, VMSIIHE will inform the applicant of the date and time of the test. The written test will consist of :

Reading Comprehension

General Knowledge

Students with a valid UGAT score or JEE score card will be considered for admission and may be exempted from the written entrance test.

Merit list will be declared on the Institute website based on marks obtained in the Written Test/UGAT/JEE (as applicable), Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Interested candidates are requested to download the application form from our website. The form, duly filled, along with cheque payable at par or demand draft for Rs.1000/- (for brochure), drawn in favour of “Vishwa Saraswati Society”, Vasco da Gama, Goa, should be sent to the address given below:

FEE STRUCTURE

All fees are payable in advance for each year. Fees must be paid at the Institute to the authorized person only or through a crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of “V M Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education” and should be payable at Goa. Money orders or cheques will not be entertained. The payer must obtain a receipt for all amounts paid.
