Applications
are invited for the admission to NRI seats in the University College of
Engineering, Kariavattom for the I year B.Tech Course for the academic year
2014-15. There are 27 NRI seats in the University College of Engineering
(Electronics & Communication Engineering (9 seats), Computer Science and
Engineering (9 Seats) and Information Technology (9 seats)).
Application
forms can be downloaded from the website www.keralauniversity.edu/ucek.in.
Demand Draft from SBT for R 100/- drawn in
favour of “The Principal, University College of Engineering” at SBT, Kariavattom
Campus Branch should be attached with the application.
Candidates
should have scored 50% marks for Mathematics and an aggregate of 50% marks for
Maths, Physics, Chemistry/Bio-technology/ Computer Science, in the qualifying
examination.
The last date
for receiving the application is 27.06.2014.
The date for
counselling for admission to the NRI seats will be announced later . However,
selected candidates should produce DDs for Rs.1 lakh as tuition fee for the
first year and Rs.1.25 lakhs as interest
free refundable caution deposit. The other fees
like PTA fund, special fees etc are also applicable to the candidates.
