Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) has invited applications for the admission to the several P.G, Ph.D and Diploma programmes. 

The Post Graduate Programmes include M.F.Sc, M.B.A, M.Sc, L.L.M (Maritime Law) and M.Tech (Coastal Zone Management). M.F.Sc courses are offered in the disciplines of Aquaculture, Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology, Aquatic Animal Health Management, Fisheries Resource Management, Aquatic Environment Management, Fisheries Engineering and Technology, Fish Processing and Technology, Fisheries Economics, Fish Bio-Technology and Fish Genetics and Breeding.

KUFOS offers M.Sc in Physical Oceanography and Ocean Modelling, Biological Oceanography and Biodiversity, Food Science and Technology, Statistics, Remote Sensing and GIS, Applied Geosciences, Disaster Management, Bio-Technology and Bio-Informatics, Marine Micro Biology and Marine Drugs and Climate Science.

Ph.D programmes are offered in 15 departments under five Faculties. Two P.G Diploma programmes are offered, one in Aquarium Science and Technology and the other in Industrial Aquaculture. A Diploma programme in Brackish water and Marine Aquaculture also is offered in KUFOS.

Application fee is Rs. 1000 and Rs.375 for SC/ST students. The application fee shall be paid by way of Challan(can be downloaded from website) in favour of The Finance Officer, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies, Panangad, payable at SBT Vyttila. No other mode of payment will be accepted. Application form and challan can be downloaded from the KUFOS website.

The filled in application along with the original challan should reach the Registrar, Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies, Panangad P.O., Kochi 682 506, Kerala on or before 30.06.2014.
