UG-PG Admission Notice 2014
Applications on the prescribed forms have been
invited from the eligible candidates having state domicile/state subject of
Jammu & Kashmir for admission to the following Undergraduate and
Postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2014-15.
PROGRAMMES
AND ELIGIBILITY:
A) Undergraduate programmes:
1 B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture:
10+2 or equivalent with English, Physics,
Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture with Science subjects with a minimum of 50%
marks in aggregate for open merit category and 40% for reserved category.
2 B.Sc. (Hons.) Biotechnology:
10+2 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry
and Biology subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
3 B.V.Sc. & A.H.:
10+2 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry
and Biology with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for open merit category
and 40% for reserved category.
B) Postgraduate programmes:
1. M.Sc.
Agriculture & Allied Sciences
2. M.V.Sc.
Eligibility:
i. Bachelor?s degree in respective/related subjects
ii. 6.00/10.00 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent
percentage (60%) of marks at Bachelor?s degree for General category candidates.
iii. 5.50/10.00 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent
percentage (55%) of marks at Bachelor?s degree for SC/ST/PH category candidates
Age:
For UG programmes: Not less than 17 years on 31st
December 2014.
For PG programmes: Not less than 19 years on 31st
December 2014.

Form can be had from the following centres against (Non-Refundable) payment of
Rs.1800/- (Rupees One Thousand Eight Hundred Only) by hand or Rs. 1850/-
(Rupees One Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty only) by post, in the form of demand
draft drawn in favour of I/c University Examination Cell, SKUAST Jammu payable
at Jammu.
