Notification to the PhD programme in Psychology-2014
Applications are invited from candidates intending
to enroll for the PhD programme on Psychology in the prescribed proforma. The
selection procedure will adhere to the following schedule/ criteria. All
subsequent notifications related to this programme will be made in the notice
board of the Department .(address shown below).
Number of seats: 12
(Reservation policy of the central/state Government
will be followed)
Eligibility: Master degree in Psychology/Applied
Psychology from a UGC recognized university.
Last date for submission of applications: 17th June, 2014
Application Form is available at www.caluniv.ac.in. Filled-in form, accompanied by copies of
MA/M.Sc mark sheet and NET/SET/SLET/ MPhil certificate ( if applicable), will
have to be submitted at the Departmental office after paying the prescribed fee
at the university cash counter. Before that, the payment challan has to be
endorsed by the departmental office.
Date of Research Eligibility Test-
a) Written part (RET-WP): 23th July, 2014
The eligible candidates who cleared NET/SET/SLET/
MPhil are exempted from appearing in RET-WP and should directly appear for RET-
oral part( RET-OP) interview.
SYLLABUS OF RET-WP will be the same as for the UGC
NET examination in Psychology.
STRUCTURE OF
RET –WP: 5 questions (2 marks each); 2 questions (5marks each) and 1 essay type
question (10 marks) and one research proposal (20marks) are to be answered
within 2 hours ( 11am to 1 pm).
DISPLAY OF THE LIST OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES IN
RET-WP: 25th July 2014 (Friday) will be displayed in notice board of secretary
office.
Date of the RET-OP interview: 25th July 2014.
