Criteria of Eligibility for Admission:
Nationality:
Candidates must be Citizens of India / children or dependents of Non Resident Indians.

Academic:
i. Applicants should have passed the MBBS Degree from any of the Universities in Kerala or of any other University recognized by the Kerala University of Health Sciences as equivalent thereto with eligibility for full registration in respect of all courses. Applicants who have completed the Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship (C.R.R.I.) on or before 30.04.2015 are eligible to apply; but admission to the candidates will be given only after obtaining registration of T.C. Medical Council. Applicants must meet all the requirements that may be stipulated by MCI and Kerala University of Health Sciences, from time to time.

ii. In the case of an Indian national with the recognized degree from Foreign University, the Medical Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary / permanent registration for the duration of the Post Graduate training restricted to the college / institution to which the applicant is admitted for the time being exclusively for Post Graduate studies. Temporary / Permanent registration to such candidates shall be subject to the condition that the degree is duly registered in the country where the degree is obtained and is recognized by the corresponding Council or concerned authority in India also.

iii. No condonation of internship (C.R.R.I.) will be accepted.

In the case of an Indian national with recognized degree from a foreign University, the Dental Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary/permanent registration for the duration of the Post Graduate training restricted to the college/institution to which the applicant is admitted for the time being exclusively for Post Graduate studies. Temporary/Permanent registration to such candidates shall be subject to the condition that the degree is duly registered in the country where the degree is obtained and is recognized by the corresponding Council or concerned authority in India also.

iii. No condonation of internship (C.R.I.) will be accepted.

iv. All aspiring candidates shall have to qualify either in the Kerala State Entrance Examination for Admission to Post Graduate Dental (MDS) Courses 2015 OR in the AIPGDEE - 2015 OR in any other P.G. Dental (MDS) Entrance Examination conducted by any State Government or University for admission session 2015. In order to be eligible for admission in any Postgraduate Dental Course in 2015, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain a minimum of fifty percentage (50%) and above in the relevant P.G. Dental (MDS) Entrance Examination. However, in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), the minimum percentage shall be Forty (40%). In respect of candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum percentage shall be Forty-five (45%).

Eligibility Criteria:
As per Medical Council of India (MCI) Amendment Notification No. MCI-34 (1)/2010-Med/32962 dt 07.10.2010 a candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology at the qualifying (10+2) Higher Secondary or equivalent examination for submitting application for Entrance Test.

In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination be 40 % instead of 50% as stated above and it would be applicable also for the candidates belonging to Other Backward Class for All India other than Tripura State domiciled candidates.

The candidates who have appeared in the (10+2) Higher Secondary or any equivalent qualifying examination in the year 2015 are also eligible to appear in the Entrance Test pending declaration of the result.
A candidate must have attained the age of 17 yrs on or before 31" December of the year of application.
Date of birth as recorded in Pass certificate of 10TH standard / Madyamik / 10 + 2 Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
For Physical Science Group, pass in SSLC/THSLC or its equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects and with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary course under Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala.

For Integrated Science Group, Pass in SSLC/THSLC (IHRD only) or its equivalent with Biology and Mathematics as subjects of study and with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary course under Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala.

Maximum age limit is 20 years as on 1-6-2015. In the case of SC/ST candidates the upper age limit will be 22 years as on 1-6-2015. (Those born on or after 1.6.1995 and in the case of SC/ST, those born on or after 1.6.1993 are eligible)

Students from CBSE Schools can apply for XIth Std. admission only if they appeared for the CBSE Board Examination. Application form should be submitted alongwith a copy of Hall ticket of CBSE Board Examination. If the Hall ticket is not available, the applicant must enclose a declaration showing that they have appeared for the CBSE Board Examination, in the stamp paper worth Rs. 50/-.

Application and prospectus can be had from the above Technical Higher Secondary Schools up to 22.5.2015 on payment of Rs.100/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST candidates).
