IRMA offers admission to the following programmes:
I 33rd Postgraduate Programme in Rural Management (PRM 2012-14)PRM is a two-year fully residential postgraduate programme comprising of four; different segments - classroom, fieldwork, organisational understanding and J management training. PRM is recognized as equivalent to Master's Degree in ! Rural Management by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is also ! approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility: Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of J education and having 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD') aggregate marks or an equivalent GPA from a recognised Indian or foreign university/ institution are eligible to apply. Candidates, who expect to fulfill the eligibility requirements before, June 11,2012, may also apply. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply,
Fees: The total programme cost over the period of two years (inclusive of tuition fee and service charges) is estimated to be about Rs. 4 lakh. Costs for students are kept low through cross subsidisation.
Fee Exemption: IRMA firmly believes that no one should be deprived of! education for lack of financial resources. Hence IRMA is open for providing financial assistance to meet the PRM tuition fees of extremely poor candidates,
Scholarships and loan: Prestigious scholarships are available for meritorious students. IRMAstudents get loan from SBI without any collateral.
Campus Placement: IRMA facilitates meaningful placement opportunities for its students. IRMAns are highly valued by national and international development organisations, funding agencies, co-operatives and NGOs. The campus placements (100%) offer ideal combination of job satisfaction and decent compensation. PRM 2009-11 participants received an average annual! salary of Rs. 7.70 lakh (highest being Rs. 10.50 lakh).
II Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM 2012)FPRM is a coursework based doctoral programme with a residency requirement of minimum 3 years, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Thematic Fields of Specialisation: (a) Management of Collectives (b) Agribusiness/Rural Marketing; (c) Natural Resources Management (d) Development Management; (e) Micro-finance Management (f) Governance and Livelihoods; (g) Rural Infrastructure and Services Management; and (h) Public Policy and Non-profit Management. Eligibility: Candidates with any one of the following:
(i) Postgraduation in any discipline from a recognised Institution with 55% marks, and 50% marks at graduation level; (ii) PRM from IRMA; (iii) Four-year professional degree (engineering, agricultural sciences etc.) with 60% marks and at least one year work experience; (iv) Five-year professional degree (medicine, veterinary science, architecture etc.) with 60% marks are eligible for admission to FPRM. SC/ST/OBC/PwD* candidates are eligible for 5% relaxation in the marks specified above. Candidates, who expect to fulfill the eligibility requirements before June 11.2012, may also apply. Fellowship: Every FPRM participant receives a fellowship of Rs. 14,000/- per month till they clear the Comprehensive Qualifying Examination and then Rs. 16,000/- per month and a contingency grant of Rs. 20,000/- per year for a period of 4 years.
Placement: Graduating fellows have joined faculty positions in IIMs, and other reputed institutions/universities.
SELECTION PROCEDUREA written test, common for all the above programmes will be conducted on November 13,2011 - Sunday (09:15-12:15 hr) at 27 centres across India. PRM participants are selected on the basis of the written test, group discussion and interview. FPRM participants are selected on the basis of the written test, interview and presentation of an essay. Candidates with PRM qualification from IRMA applying for FPRM are exempt from the written test. IRMA has positive discrimination policies for admissions to disadvantaged sections of the society.

HOW TO APPLY
An applicant can opt for one of the following options:
a. Apply online and pay through payment gateway.
b. Make payment at any branch of IMS learning centre, after getting IMS receipt, apply only through IRMA website by using IMS receipt number.
c. Take a print out of SBI challan available on IRMA website in the admission link.
Make payment at any branch of SBI by using the challan. SBI would then issue a unique ID number. Use this unique ID number and apply online through IRMA website.
d. Printed application material (prospectus, application form, sample question paper etc.) can be obtained from Admissions Office. IRMA, Anand - 388 001 on payment of full fees.
e. Examination form fees will be waived for candidates belonging to "Below Poverty Line (BPL)" families. Such candidates are required to apply only in hard copy. They need to send a request by post or courier for application form to Admissions Office, IRMA with photocopy of BPL Card or photocopy of Certification from Panchayat or photocopy of Certification from Block Development Officer, duly attested by a gazetted officer. IRMA will send printed materials (prospectus, application form, sample question paper etc.) to such candidates.
Prospectus and sample question papers will be sent to the candidates opting for options "a" and "c" after their application is received at IRMA. It is compulsory for all applicants to send a hard copy of application form at Admissions Office, IRMA, Anand-388001, Gujarat. Those applicants, who are using option "b" or "c", are required to attach IMS Receipt or SBI Challan respectively with application form.
