ICFAI University, Dehradun has invited applications for admission to BEd Program of Faculty of Education, commencing on August 03, 2015

Eligibility

Student with a pass in Graduation / Post Graduation with at least 50% (Both in Hindi / English Medium) is eligible to apply for the program. Applicants who have appeared for the final year Graduation/Post Graduation examination are also eligible to apply. The admission of those applicants however will be considered provisional until they submit their final mark sheet to the department. The last date for submitting the proof of Graduation / Post graduation mark sheet is October 1, 2015

Admission Test and Interview

All applicants aspiring for the admission in the BEd program of the ICFAI University have to appear for the written test of two hours duration. The admission test mainly meant to test the aptitude, General Knowledge, General English as well as the proficiency in the respective disciplines of the candidates.

Eligibility for LL.B 3 years

Pass with 50% and above aggregate marks in Graduation or equivalent (in any discipline). Candidates awaiting final year examination results are also eligible for admission.

Age should not be more than 30 years as on the date of Registration.

Eligibility for LL.M 2 Years

Bachelor Degree in Law with 55% aggregate marks (OR) Integrated 5 year Degree program in Law with 55% aggregate marks.

Admission Process

The admission into the BBA - LL.B (Hons.), LL.B 3 Years Program and LL.M Programs are made through application. Eligible applicants are required to apply for the program using the Application Form (given on page 5). The University will offer provisional admissions subject to the students satisfying all the eligibility criteria. The admission would be confirmed only after all the required proof of eligibility have been produced by the student and verified by the Admissions Office. Due weightage is given to past academic record, academic distinctions, achievements in sports and extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.

The cost of prospectus along with application material is ' 500, which may be obtained by paying cash or through DD in favour of 'The ICFAI University, Dehradun - Fee Collection A/c', payable at Dehradun. Admission Procedure
Applicants may seek admission through IBSAT and Interview process.

IBSAT is an Aptitude Test. IBSAT is of two hours duration and consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT 2011 will be conducted on December 24, 2011. Please refer the IBSAT 2011 Application Material at www.ibsat.org.

GMAT and CAT 2011 scores are also accepted by IBS. The GMAT Code number of IBS is 7061. Applicants with GMAT score of 550 and above are exempted from appearing for IBSAT. Applicants with GMAT/CAT 2011 scores have to download the Application Form from www.ibsat.org, complete it and send it along with the respective score card and a Demand Draft of INR 1,200 towards the cost, on or before December 12, 2011 to the IBSAT Office, 52, Nagarjuna Hills, Punjagutta, Hyderabad - 500082. Selection Briefings in 30 Cities During February 2012 :
candidates in 30 cities across the country during February 2012,to clarify various aspects of the selection process, financial aid and placements at IBS. All short-listed candidates are invited to attend the selection briefings along with their parents. The schedule and venues of the selection briefings will be intimated later.

Interviews at Hyderabad in March 2012
The shortlisted candidates will be called for participation in the interview process which will be held in March 2012 at Hyderabad. The interview process for each candidate will be completed in one day. The details of the interview process will be provided through a letter and the selection process kit will be sent to all the short-listed candidates.

Fee
Selected candidates are required to pay the fee as given below. In addition, students will be required to pay hostel, water, electricity, housekeeping, bus and mess charges as applicable.

The fee for the 2 year MBA, MBA (FE) and MBA (FB) Programs is INR 4.95 lakhs per annum.

The fee for the 4 year Ph.D. program (Full-time/Part-time) is INR 1.30 lakhs per annum. However, Full-time Ph.D students have to pay only INR 40,000 towards admission fee. They get full waiver of tuition fee of INR 60,000 per semester for 8 semesters, subject to academic performance.

Merit Scholarships
IBS offers a limited number of merit scholarships, to deserving students based on their academic performance.

IBSAT will be conducted all over India. The applicants can choose any one of the test center available for IBSAT. The list of all the test centers is provided on Page 5. Please note that requests for change of test center will not be entertained under normal circumstances. In the event of not having enough seats at the requested test center, applicants will be allotted the nearest alternative center. IBSAT Office reserves the right to add or delete a few test centers depending upon the situation. The same will be intimated on the website www.ibsat.org for the benefit of applicants.



All applicants who have applied for IBSAT are eligible to download Online Admit Cards from www.ibsat.org , using the application number and date of birth as their user name and password respectively from November 15, 2011 onwards. The online admit card will carry the name, address, roll number of the applicant, test date, timings, and details of the test center. No hard copies of Admit Cards will be sent. The admit card is not transferable. Impersonation is a punishable offence under law.


The results of the IBSAT 2011 will be hosted online on www.ibsat.org around January 23, 2012. The details of the score (in terms of percentiles)obtained in the test will be intimated to all applicants.
