c) Candidates should be physically fit for daily heavy load of physical activities and should not have any physical deformity or mental disability

Selection Criteria:
The candidates shall be selected for admission from the rank list prepared on the basis of the following criteria.
a) Written test (Based on B.P.E/ B.P.Ed. syllabus) 50 marks
b) Game proficiency & Achievements 25 marks
c) Sports achievements 10 marks
d) Physical fitness test (AAHPERD) 15 marks
Total: 100 marks

Requirements for Admission
Qualifying Examinations: Qualifying examinations for the purpose of admission to the first year of undergraduate courses offered by the University shall be Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto. Candidate seeking admission to the courses offered by the University should have passed the qualifying examination obtaining minimum marks as specified for each of the courses in subsequent sections.
Age Requirement
•      There is no minimum age bar for admission to undergraduate courses in the University / colleges except in professional courses where regulatory body prescribes minimum age requirement (such as MCI, AICTE etc.)

SYLLABUS OF RET-WP will be the same as for the UGC NET examination in Psychology.
 STRUCTURE OF RET –WP: 5 questions (2 marks each); 2 questions (5marks each) and 1 essay type question (10 marks) and one research proposal (20marks) are to be answered within 2 hours ( 11am to 1 pm).
