BSc (Engg.) / MTech / BEd / MEd / BBM / BBM Hons. / MBA (Business Management) / All PG Diploma Courses is Rs.270/-

Application fee can be deposited in cash at the counter Dayalbagh Educational Institute or by a crossed bank draft to the office of the Registrar, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Dayalbagh, Agra-282 110. The bank draft has to be drawn in favour of the Dayalbagh Educational Institute, payable at any bank at Agra.

Last date for application of courses, BA / BA (Social Science) / BBM / BCom / BSc (Home Sc.) / BSc / BSc (Engineering) is 10th day after declaration of result of Intermediate Examination of the U.P. Board for regular candidates or the 30th June 2013, whichever is later.

For all other courses mentioned above, last date for submission of application forms is 30th June 2013

Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India engaged in advanced research in infectious diseases, gene function and regulation and translational research invites applications from Indian nationals to appear in the entrance examination for Ph.D. programme-2013.

Essential Qualification:

(a) Candidates should have passed the M.Sc. (any branch of science), M.Tech., M.Pharm., M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification with minimum 60% marks (or equivalent grade point).

(b) Should have qualified in CSIR/UGC-JRF or ICMR – JRF or DBT – JRF or DST - INSPIRE.

Candidates who have qualified only for lecturer ship in CSIR/UGC or GATE (97 percentile or above) or GPAT (97percentile

or above) are also eligible to apply. They should have qualified in these examinations no earlier than June 2012.

(c) Candidates who meet eligibility criteria - (b) and expecting the Masters final results by 1st October 2013 are also eligible to apply, provided they have minimum 60% mark in other semesters.

(d) The upper age limit of the candidate should be 28 years as of 1^st July 2013.

Age relaxation will be given for five years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/women /PH and three years in case of OBC (as approved by Govt. of India) candidates.

If selected in the final interview, candidate having a national fellowship need to activate the fellowship as per the norms of the agency. Institute of Life Sciences will provide an equivalent fellowship to all other selected candidates not having the national fellowship.

Depending on the vacancy the Ph.D. students will be provided hostel facility.

To and fro bus/rail fare by the shortest route limited to second sleeper class will be paid to all the candidates selected for the interview.

NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited for admission to the Bachelor of Fashion Technology & BSc Apparel and Fashion Design programmes offered in affiliated colleges for the academic year 2013-2014.

Duration of the course

The duration of the programmes is for a period of 3 years consisting of 6 semesters.

Eligibility

Candidate with a pass in Plus Two or equivalent examinations recognized by the University, irrespective of streams /subjects are eligible for admission to the programme.

Since B Sc Apparel & Fashion Design is offered in a Women’s College, only female candidates should apply for the programme.

Weightage of marks for proficiency in NC C/NSS etc and bonus marks for Ex- Servicemen applicants and widows and children of Jawans/ Ex-Servicemen will be given as per the existing rules of admission. Reservation for candidates with outstanding records in sports and games shall be allowed as per rules. 3%of the seats under Merit quota is reserved for physically challenged candidates.

How and When to apply:

Application forms and pay in slip can be downloaded from the website of the Mahatma Gandhi University www.mgu.ac.in from 04.06.2012 onwards. A registration fee of Rs. 350/- (Rs.150/-for SC/ST candidates) shall be remitted vide pay in slip of A/C No. 67114059391. Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Since the admission to the programme under merit and management categories is based on a common rank list prepared by the University, all the candidates are required to submit their applications to the Deputy Registrar I (Academic), Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills PO., Kottayam 686560. However, admission to management seats shall be made by the management concerned from the rank list irrespective of the rank secured by the candidate.

A self- addressed stamped envelope (Rs 5/-) shall be enclosed along with the application.

The last date for receipt of filled in application is 15.06.2013.
