Criteria of Eligibility for Admission:

Nationality: Candidates must be Citizens of India/children or dependents of Non-Resident Indians.

(1) M.Sc. Nursing:

Academic:

Candidates should have passed the regular Degree Course in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing) with 55% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from Universities other than from the Government Universities in the State of Kerala should produce Eligibility / Equivalence Certificate for the qualifying examination from Kerala University of Health Sciences.

Every candidate before admission to the course shall submit to the Principal of the Institution a Certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer certifying that the candidate is fit to undergo the course.

Rounding off of the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is not permitted.

Any further norms of eligibility that may be prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council / Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council / KUHS shall also apply.

Professional Registration:

Candidates should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with the Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council.

Employment Experience:

1. As on the date of joining for the course, the candidates should have minimum one year of experience after basic B. Sc. Nursing

OR minimum one year of experience prior or after regular Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing, in any hospital having minimum bed strength of 100 or in a School/College of Nursing with Community Health Program.

2. One year compulsory nursing service/internship after successful completion of four year B.Sc. Nursing can be considered as experience.

3. Experience acquired after registration with the nursing council only will be counted.

Medical Fitness:

Every candidate before admission to the course shall submit to the Principal of the Institution a Certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer certifying that the candidate is fit to undergo the course.

(2) Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing:

Academic:

The candidate should have passed 3 or 3? years General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Course with 50% marks in aggregate from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).

Candidates should have passed their Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course), Or Senior School Certificate Examination(10+2), Pre-Degree Examination (10+2), Or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) subjects.

Professional Registration:

Candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN RM) with the Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council.

(3) B.Sc. Nursing:

Academic:

As per Indian Nursing Council norms, the candidates should have passed +2 class with 12 years of school-ship with 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English. As per norms of Kerala University of Health Science (KUHS) for admission for B.Sc. Nursing, the minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of: Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course), Or Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), Pre-Degree Examination (10+2), Or An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or university with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Age: Applicants should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2015.

a. A valid Email ID (If you do not have an email address, we recommend Gmail)

b. Scanned copy of recent (taken after 1 st January 2015) passport size color photograph. Photograph should be taken in a white/light colored background. The image should be in JPEG format. Maximum size for photograph 50 KB and image dimension

is 120x150 px (4.23x5.29 cm).

c. Details of the Demand Draft, that is to be filled in as part of the online Application form.

The Demand draft, in favour of AMSFNCK payable at Ernakulam, has to be kept ready before filling the online form. The online application will prompt you to fill in (1) DD No, (2) Bank Name. (3) Branch. (4) Amount and (5) Date.

The candidate can complete application process in three steps:

a. Register into AMSFNCK admission portal on the website using a valid email - id .

b. Access the portal using the password provided to you in your e-mail, complete the online application form and SUBMIT the application online.

c. VNC/MFC (Vessel Navigator and Marine Fitter Trades) Admission Notice 2015

The Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical & Engineering Training (CIFNET) at Kochi/Chennai/ Visakhapatnam offers career training to candidates in Vessel Navigator and Marine Fitter Trades which have been introduced by Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour, New Delhi under Craftsman Training Scheme of NCVT. The training courses of 24 months duration include basic practical training on board fishing vessels out at sea. The courses are scheduled to be commenced from 1st August 2015.

Applications in the prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the above courses through entrance examination to be held on 20th June 2015 at Kochi, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Kolkota, Delhi, Bhubaneswar & Bombay. If sufficient candidates are not available in particular centre, the next nearest centre will be allotted for appearing Entrance examination. Further, the selected candidates will be paid Rs.1500/- (One thousand five hundred) per month as stipend.

Qualification:

(i) Essential: Pass in 10th Standard (SSLC) or equivalent examination with 50% in Maths and Science separately. The candidates who are appearing 10th Examination during March 2015 are also eligible to apply. However the selection will be made only through marks obtained in 10th and Entrance examination.

(ii) Desirable: One year fishing experience. (iii) Age: 16 to 20 years as on 1st August 2015 candidates born between 02.08.95and 02.08.99 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply. Upper age limit is relaxable to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates by 5 years.

CRITERIA OF ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:

Candidate should be qualified as per KUHS/DCI norms. Candidates should be qualified and figure in either in any of the following entrance exams:

Kerala State Medical Rank List of KEAM 2015

All India PMT 2015

Medical Entrance 2015 of any other state government/University

Nationality:

Candidates must be Citizens of India / children or dependents of Non Resident Indians.

Academic:

As per the Dental Council of India - BDS Course Regulation 2007 and the MCI Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997, section 4 (2) the applicant should have passed the qualifying examinations as under:

(a) The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education.

Note: Where the course content is not as prescribed for 10+2 education structure of the National Committee, the candidates will have to undergo a period of one year pre-professional training before admission to the Medical colleges, or

(b) The Intermediate examination in science of an Indian University/Board or other recognized examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.

or

(c) The pre-professional/pre-medicai examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the higher secondary school examination, or the pre-university or an equivalent examination. The pre-professional/premedical examination shall include a practical test in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and also English as a compulsory subject.

or

(d) The first year of the three years degree course of a recognized university, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the examination is a "University Examination" and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course, or

(e)  B. Sc. examination of an Indian University, provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc examination with not less than two of the following subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that he/she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with the following subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

or

(f)  Any other examination which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the intermediate science examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including practical test in each of these subjects and English.
