MBA Admission Notice 2015

Applications have been invited by Department of Management studies, National Institute of Technology, Trichy for admission to Master of Business Administration programme of Academic Year 2015-17.

(B) Eligibility:
1. A recognized university degree in any discipline
2. Candidates should have 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OBC whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC/ST candidates in the qualifying degree. For PWD candidates, the eligibility criterion will apply to the category they belong to (OC/OBC/SC/ST).
3. The above mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be aggregate based on all semesters.
4. In case, result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission is permitted to a student subject to meeting above minimum academic requirements latest by 15th September 2015.
5. Conversion from CGPA to percentage or vice versa given by individual institute will not be considered /allowed.
6. Candidates appearing for their final year degree examination are also eligible to apply for the program.
7. Candidates should have appeared for the CAT exam 2014.

Candidates applying for the MBA Programme of DoMS, NITT need to fill the application form through online mode only (www.nitt.edu)

Application Fee:
1) Rs. 1550 for OC/OBC category (Excluding the bank charges)
2) Rs. 1050 for SC/ST category (Excluding the bank charges)

Applications have been invited by The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination of Year 2015 for admission to different professional degree courses, such as Engineering, Medical, Dental, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fisheries and others. Candidates willing to appear in Tripura Joint Entrance Examination have to attempt questions of four different subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Candidates seeking admission to Engineering / Technological Degree Courses (Group - A) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and those seeking admission to Medical / Agricultural / Veterinary / Fishery and other such courses, (Group-B) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Those who desiring to take chances in both of the above groups will have to appear in all the four subjects (Group-C).

ELIGIBILITY:
The applicant must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent Resident of Tripura. The applicant or his/her parents must have been residing in the state of Tripura continuously for not less than 10 (ten) years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Examination, 2015 and has passed / appeared or due to appear in the year of Joint Entrance Examination, at the Higher Secondary Examination of Tripura Board of Secondary Education/Central Board of Secondary Education or equivalent with the subjects in which he/she desires to appear at the Joint Entrance Examination.

Children of All India Services Officers borne in Manipur- Tripura Cadre and the Children of the Employees of the State Government posted outside Tripura will be eligible to appear at the Examination irrespective of their prior stay in Tripura.

In case a candidate is not permanent resident of Tripura but his/her parent is an officer on deputation to the Government of Tripura/Officer of the Central Government working in Tripura and has served in Tripura continuously for a period of 3(three) years or more and due to appear/passed Higher Secondary Examination from an Institution of Tripura, he/she will be eligible for appearing in the examination.

In case of wards of Ex-Servicemen, either the candidate or his/her parents must have been staying in Tripura continuously for not less than 5(five) years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Examination of Tripura and the candidate must have passed or appeared/due to appear at the H.S.(+2 stage) Examination in the year of Joint Entrance Examination from any legally recognised institution of India with subjects in which he/she desires to appear at the Joint Entrance Examination. Children of serving Defence personnel (Army / Navy / Air Force) hailing from Tripura are also allowed to appear for Tripura Joint Entrance Examination provided that their children should have stayed in Tripura continuously not less than 5(five) years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Examination of Tripura and that the candidate must have passed or appeared/due to appear at the H.S.(+2 stage) examination in the year of Joint Entrance Examination from any institution of Tripura with the subjects in which he/she desires to appear in the Joint Entrance Examination.

APPLICATION FORM:
The Application Form & Prospectus may be obtained from the counter of the office of the TBJEE (Old Secretariat Complex, Finance building, ground floor.) till 10.02.2015 on all working days from 11.00 AM to 2.00 PM ( excluding Sunday and all other holidays) on payment of Rs. 80/- in cash. However, the time for the date 10-02-2015 will be from 11.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
The Application Form & Prospectus may also be collected from the following centres till 10.02.2015 on all working days on payment of Rs. 80/- in cash.

The Application Form & Prospectus can be obtained by postal request from the office of the TRIPURA BOARD OF JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION by sending Postal Order of Rs. 80/- (Rupess eighty only) per Form & Prospectus in favour of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, payable at Agartala Head Post Office.
All postal requests must be accompanied by a self addressed envolope of 30 cm x 13 cm size and a postage stamp of Rs. 5/- affixed on it.

The application for appearing at the examination should be made only in the prescribed printed form distributed/designed by the Board. Duly filled in Application Form alongwith all enclosures and Challan form (Board's part) marked by the State Bank of India must be submitted to the office of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, Old Secretariat Complex, Finance building, Agartala on or before 10.02.2015 in person and Application posted on or before 10-02-2015 shall also be accepted provided it must reach on or before 18.02.2015 to the office of the TBJEE.

The examination fees for different categories of candidates are as follows:
UR                  350/- (Rupees three hundred and fifty)
SC & ST                      300/- (Rupees three hundred)
BPL UR                      250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty)
BPL SC & ST 200/- (Rupees two hundred)

Candidates have to deposit Bank's commission alongwith exact amount of Examination Fees in any Branch of State Bank of India, except the Agartala (Melarmath) Branch. In case fees through e-Challan (supplied along with Form) are deposited in Agartala (Melarmath) Branch there is no need to give exchange fees / commission / service charge etc.

Who can apply?
A Bachelor's Degree** or its equivalent in any discipline with Aggregate 50% mark or equivalent CGPA. Those with CA / ICWAI / CS are also eligible to apply.

Applications are invited by Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu for admission to the five year integrated courses offered by the university for the academic year 2015-2016.

Courses & Eligibility
1) Five Year Integrated BTech-MTech (Film and Electronic Media Studies):
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) / Intermediate Examination or its Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

2) Five Year Integrated BBA-MBA (Tourism and Hotel Management):
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) / Intermediate Examination or its Equivalent.

The upper age limit for admission will be 21 years as on 1st July 2015.
However,
i) a relaxation of 5 years is permitted for Physically Handicapped and
ii) a relaxation of 3 years is permitted for SC / ST / BC / MBC / DNC candidates and female candidates beyond 21 years for the admission.

Registration Fee: Each course Rs.600/-

Enclosures to be sent along with the filled-in application. The candidates have to submit the Photo copies of the following certificates duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with the application form. Original certificates should not be sent.
i) SSLC (10th), +2 (HSC) / Intermediate Bonafide Student Certificate obtained from the Head of Institution shall be enclosed.
ii) Community Certificate obtained from Tahsildar / Deputy Tahsildar concerned. Otherwise it will not be taken into account.
iii) Income Certificate obtained 3 months prior to the date of advertisement (for SC/ST/Blind candidates only) from the competent issuing authority.
iv) Certificate of Physically Handicapped / Leprosy cured; Candidates who want them to be considered under the Physically Handicapped category should submit the certificate obtained from an authorized Medical Officer of the specialty concerned not below the rank of Civil Surgeon together with Photography showing the nature of handicap.
v) Ex- service man Certificate: Certificates to be produced.
vi) Sports category should produce the relevant certificate for having represented the State / Nation.
