Applications have been invited by Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, for admission to the following courses of Academic Year 2011-12 from the candidates eligible as mentioned against each course:

A. ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES COURSES:
1. Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT): Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) from an institution recognized by Jamia Hamdard or university/ institute approved by UGC, securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate.

2. Master of Physiotherapy (MPT): Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from an institution recognized by Jamia Hamdard or university/ institute approved by the UGC, securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate.

3. MSc -Clinical Research: 55% marks in aggregate, in any of the following:
• MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BUMS/ BVSc.
• B.Pharm
• BSc-Nursing
• BOT/ BPT/ BSc-Medical Lab. Techniques
• BSc with Biochemistry/ Pharmacology/ Toxicology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Zoology or any other life sciences subject.

4. Integrated MSc.-Ph.D in Clinical Research- Moalijat (Unani): BUMS degree with at least 60% marks in aggregate. For Lateral entry of MD (Unani) candidates in relevant disciplines, the minimum pass percentage will be 60%. (The lateral entry admission for this course will be introduced after two years)

5. Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT): Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

6. Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT): Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

7. Bachelor of Occupational Therapy-III year (Through Lateral Entry) & Bachelor of Physiotherapy - III year (Through Lateral Entry): Passed a 3 year diploma course in either of the discipline.

8. BSc-Medical Laboratory Techniques (BSc-MLT): Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate of these subjects.

9. BSc-Medical Laboratory Techniques (BSc-MLT)-II year (Through lateral entry): Passed a two-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Techniques (after 10+2 examination) with 50% marks in the aggregate.

10. BSc- Emergency and Trauma Care Technology: Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

15. PhD: Islamic Studies:
Candidates seeking admission to PhD in Islamic Studies should have
• Master’s degree in Islamic Studies or allied subjects and should have at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.
• Qualified NET-JRF /NET-LS conducted by government agencies such as UGC.
• Knowledge of English and Arabic or Persian or Urdu is essential.

16. MA- Islamic Studies:
• Passed Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or related disciplines securing at least 50% marks. Students who have passed Fazilat (Graduation) examination with at least 50% marks from a Madarsa recognized by Jamia Hamdard are also eligible.
• Proficiency in English and Urdu/Arabic and knowledge of basic teachings of Islam.

17. BA- Islamic Studies: • Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Or
• Passed Alim/ Alimiyah degree from Madrasas recognized by Jamia Hamdard securing at least 50% marks.

D. FEDERAL STUDIES:
18. PhD-Federal Studies:
· MPhil (Federal Studies) besides Master’s degree in Political Science/ Sociology/ Economics / Management / Law.
· Qualified NET-JRF /NET-LS conducted by government agencies such as UGC.

19. Master of Philosophy (MPhil) Programme in Federal Studies:
Master’s degree in any subject of the Social Sciences or Management or Law and should have secured at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

20. MA-Human Rights:
Passed Bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by Jamia Hamdard, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.

E. MANAGEMENT AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:
21. PhD-Health Management:
MBA with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from any University / Institution recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. Those who have Master’s Degree in related disciplines may also be considered if they have done adequate courses in the core subjects.
• Management students will be eligible if they obtain GMAT/MAT test valid scores besides NET/NET-LS qualified

22. Master of Business Administration (MBA)

· Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

· 60% weightage for MAT Score and rest for GD / PI

F. COMPUTER SCIENCE:
25. PhD-Computer Science:
• MCA/ MSc in Computer Science/ M Tech in Computer Science /Engineering with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade from any University / Institution recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
• Information Technology candidates are eligible if they qualify NET-JRF/NET-LS from UGC/AICTE etc.

26. Master of Computer Applications (MCA):
Passed Bachelor’s degree examination in any discipline from a recognized institution with at least one paper of Mathematics at Senior Secondary (10+2) level securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.

27. MTech-Computer Science (Weekend Programme):
Passed BTech/ BE in Computer Science/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent with 60% or equivalent marks in aggregate Or
MCA or equivalent three years programme with 60% marks in aggregate Or
B.Tech/ BE in Electronics & Communication/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent with 60% marks in aggregate Or

Passed BUMS Examination, securing at least 60% marks in the aggregate from Jamia Hamdard or from any other University recognized by Jamia Hamdard. Completed the compulsory internship.

Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto, securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Proficiency in Urdu language comparable to High School (Class X) standard in addition to knowledge of English. Medium of instruction of this programme is Urdu language substantiated with English.

34. Pre-Tib:
Passed Fazil from a Madarsa / Institution recognized by Jamia Hamdard and must have studied Arabic and Falsafa.

35. Certificate Course of Unani Dispenser:
Passed Aalim Examination from a Madarsa/Institution recognized by Jamia Hamdard OR intermediate (10+2) qualification in any discipline with knowledge of Urdu.

H. NURSING: (only for female candidates)
36. MSc-Nursing:
· Passed BSc.Nursing / BSc-(Hons) Nursing / Post Basic BSc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
· Undergone training in an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
· A Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife Certificate or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
· One year of work experience prior or after Post Basic BSc-Nursing

· Ability to communicate in English and Urdu/Hindi.

40. Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM):
• Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard / Intermediate) examination (any stream) preferably with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto and have secured at least 40% marks in 10 + 2 examination. The candidate should have studied English at 10th standard.
• Ability to communicate in English and Urdu/Hindi.

I. PHARMACY:
41. PhD:
Candidates should have:
· Passed M Pharm from Jamia Hamdard or from any other institution, recognized by AICTE and Jamia Hamdard in the relevant subject securing at least 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
· Pharmacy candidates are eligible if they have NET-JRF/NET-LS in life sciences/Chemical Sciences stream unless any new national level test is introduced for the stream by the UGC/AICTE.
· The candidates from science stream may also apply for different disciplines in PhD in Pharmacy.

42. PhD-Pharmaceutical Medicine

· Passed M Pharm from Jamia Hamdard or from any other institution recognized by AICTE and Jamia Hamdard in Pharmacology / Hospital Pharmacy / Clinical Pharmacy / Pharmaceutics or MBBS degree from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to MD / DNB degree holders in Pharmacology / Medicine / Clinical Pharmacology. Candidates with MSc degree in Pharmacology may also be considered. The required percentage is 55% in aggregate in the relevant subject or equivalent grade.
· Pharmacy candidates are eligible if they have NET/NET-LS in life sciences/Chemical Sciences stream unless any new national level test is introduced for the stream by the UGC/AICTE.
· Industry Sponsored full time Ph.D students including that for Pharmaceutical Medicine will have to qualify NET-JRF/NET-LS in life sciences.

Passed B.Sc. from a recognized university under 10+2+3 system with Biological sciences and secured atleast 50% marks in the aggregate. The candidates have been passed B.Sc. Agriculture or B.V.Sc. with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible.

(d) Successful candidates will undergo interview and recruitment medical examination (Preliminary), which may take 2-3 days.

Civil Service Preliminary Exam on June 12, 2011

Union Public Service Commission has notified the Civil Services Examination, 2011. The Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination 2011, will be held on 12th June, 2011 (Sunday) at vaious centres throughout the country. Applications are now invited for the Preliminary Examination only. Candidates who are declared by the Commission to have qualified for admission to the Main Examination will have to apply again, in the Detailed Application Form which would be supplied to them.

Plan of Examination: The Civil Services Examination will he held in two successive stages.

The first stage, the Civil Services Preliminary Examination which will be of the Objective type, will be for the selection of candidates for the Main Examination.

The second stage, the Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview) will be for the selection of candidates for the various Services and posts.

Preliminary: Preliminary Examination will have two compulsory papers of 200 marks each with each paper being of two hours duration. Blind candidates will be allowed an extra time of twenty minutes at each paper. Both the question papers will have objective type, multiple choice questions. The question papers will be set in Hindi and English. However, questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level will be tested through passages from English Language only without providing Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.

Syllabi for the Preliminary are given as Part A of Section III of the Notification available at http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Applications are now invited for the Preliminary Examination only. Candidates who are declared by the Commission to have qualified for admission to the Main Examination will have to apply again, in the Detailed Application Form which would be supplied to them. The Main Examination is likely to be held in October/November, 2011. 

ELIGIBILITY:

(i) Nationality: For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, applicant must be a citizen of India. For other services, a candidate must be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. For details see the Notification.

(ii) Age: Applicant must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2011 (Applicant must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1981 and not later than 1st August, 1990). The upper age limit will be relaxable for SC/ST and also Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates and certain other categories. Details are given in the Notification available at http://www.upsconline.nic.in.

(iii) Educational Qualifications: Applicant must hold a Degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be Deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification. Those who have appeared at the qualifying examination and those who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission to the Preliminary Examination subject to production of proof of passing the requisite examination with their application for the Main Examination if they are declared qualified for taking the Civil Services (Main) Examination, failing which they will not be admitted to the Main Examination.

The applications for the Main Examination will be called sometime in the month of July/August, 2011. Those possessing Professional and Technical qualifications which are recognised by Government as equivalent to Professional and Technical Degree can apply. Those who have passed the Final Professional M.B.B.S or any other Medical Examination but have not completed their internship by the time of submission of their applications for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, will be provisionally admitted to the Examination provided they submit along with their application a copy of certificate from the concerned authority of the University/Institution that they had passed the requisite final professional medical examination. In such cases, the candidates will be required to produce at the time of their interview original Degree or a certificate from the concerned competent authority of the University/Institution that they had completed all requirements (including completion of internship) for the award of the Degree.

(iv) Number of attempts: The maximum number of attempts to different categories of applicants who are otherwise eligible are as follows. (i) General category- 4 (ii) PH Applicants of the General Category- 7 (iii) Other backward Classes (available to the candidates who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates) – 7 (iv) SC/ST- No limit. An attempt at a Preliminary Examination will be considered to be an attempt at the Examination. If a candidate actually appears in any one paper in the Preliminary Examination, he/she shall be considered to have made an attempt at the Examination. Notwithstanding the disqualification/cancellation of candidature, the fact of appearance of the candidate at the examination will count as an attempt.

(v) Restrictions: A candidate who is appointed to the Indian Administrative Service or the Indian Foreign Service on the results of an earlier examination and continues to be a member of that service will not be eligible to compete at this examination. In case such a candidate is appointed to the IAS/IFS after the Preliminary Examination of Civil Services Examination, 2011 is over and he/she continues to be a member of that service, he/she shall not be eligible to appear in the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2011 notwithstanding his/her having qualified in the Preliminary Examination, 2011. Also provided that if such a candidate is appointed to IAS/IFS after the commencement of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2011 but before the result thereof and continues to be a member of that service, he/she shall not be considered for appointment to any service/post on the basis of the result of Civil Services Examination, 2011.

(vi) Physical Standards: Applicants must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Civil Services Examination, 2011 as per guidelines given in Appendix-III of Rules for Examination published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 19th February, 2011.

Applications can also be submitted Offline in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices (specified in Appendix III of the Notice) throughout the country for Rs. 30/-, which can be paid in cash.

Fee: Those applying Online (except Female/SC/ST/PH applicants who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs. 50/- either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI, by cash, using the Pay-in-Slip generated at the time of submitting online Application. Fee can be paid online using the Internet banking facility of the State Bank of India if the applicant is a SBI Customer and having its Internet banking facility. Fee can also be paid online using any Visa/Master Debit or Credit card issued by any Bank/Institution.

Those applying Offline (through Common Application Form) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- through a single Central Recruitment Stamp which may be obtained from the Post Office and affixed on the application form in the space provided therein. The stamp must be got cancelled from the issuing Post Office with the date stamp of the Post Office in such a manner that the impression of the cancellation mark partially overflows on the application form itself but within the space provided on the Application form itself. The impression of the cancellation mark should be clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of date and the Post Office of issue.

Those residing abroad should deposit the prescribed fee in the office of India's High Commissioner, Ambassador or representative abroad as the case may be for credit to account head "051-Public Service Commission-Examination Fees" and attach the receipt with the application.

All female candidates and candidates belonging Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Physically Handicapped categories are exempted from payment of fee. No fee exemption is, however, available to OBC candidates and they are required to pay the prescribed fee in full.

If any candidate who took the Civil Services Examination held in 2010 wishes to apply for admission to this examination, he/she must submit his/her application so as to reach the Commission's Office by the prescribed date without waiting for the results or an offer of appointment. Candidates admitted to the Main Examination will be required to pay a further fee of Rs. 200/-.

Last Date: Offline applications must reach the 'Controller of Examinations, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069', either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier, on or before the 21st March,2011.

Applications from those residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep or abroad, will be accepted till 5 pm on 28th March, 2011, only if received by Post/Speed Post. In the case of applications received by hand or through courier service, benefit of extended time will not be available regardless of the place of residence of the applicant.

Main Examination: The Main written Examination will have a total of 9 papers. The question papers for the examination will be of conventional (essay) type. Each paper will be of three hours duration. Blind candidates will be allowed an extra time of thirty minutes at each paper.

Paper I (300 marks) will be one of the Indian languages to be selected by the candidate from the Languages included in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution. Paper II (300 marks) will be English. Paper III will be Essay carrying 200 marks. Papers IV and V, each carrying 300 marks will be papers on General Studies. Papers VI VII, VIII and IX, each carrying 300 marks, will be based on the two subjects (two papers based on each subject) to be selected from the list of the optional subjects that include Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Anthropology, Botany, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Commerce and Accountancy, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Geography, Geology, History, Law, Management, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Science, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science and International Relations, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Statistics, Zoology, Literature of one of the following languages : Arabic, Assamese, Bodo, Bengali, Chinese, Dogri, English, French, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Pali, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit, Santali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu.

Candidates will not be allowed to offer the following combinations of subjects:
(a) Political Science & International Relations and Public Administration;
(b) Commerce & Accountancy and Management;
(c) Anthropology and Sociology;
(d) Mathematics and Statistics;
(e) Agriculture and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science.
(f) Management and Public Administration;

The Papers on Indian Languages and English will be of qualifying nature. The marks obtained in these papers will not be counted for ranking. Evaluation of the papers, 'Essay, 'General Studies' and Optional Subjects would be done simultaneously along with evaluation of their qualifying papers on 'Indian languages' and English'. However, the marks in 'Essay', General Studies' and 'Optional Subject' papers of those who attain the minimum standard fixed by the Commission for the qualifying papers on 'Indian language' and 'English' will be considered for finalising those applicants to be called for the Interview. The marks in 'Essay' 'General studies and Optional subjects' will not be disclosed to those candidates who fail to obtain such minimum qualifying standard in 'Indian language and 'English'.

Syllabus: Details of the syllabi for the Main Examination are indicated in Part B of Section III of the Notification available at http://www.upsconline.nic.in.

Interview/Personality Test: Candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the written part of the Main Examination as may be fixed by UPSC, will be called for an interview/for a Personality Test. The number of candidates to be called for interview will be about twice the number of vacancies to be filled. The interview will carry 300 marks, with no minimum qualifying marks.

The interview is aimed to assess the personal suitability of the candidate for a career in public service, by a Board of competent and unbiased observers who will have before them a record of the applicant's career. The interview is intended to judge the mental calibre of a candidate and will be an assessment of the intellectual qualities of the candidate and also his/her social traits and interest in current affairs. Some of the qualities to be judged are mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, balance of judgement, variety and depth of interest, ability for social cohesion and leadership, intellectual and moral integrity.

The final ranking would be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination (written part as well as interview).

Candidates will be allotted to the various Services keeping in view their ranks in the examination and the preferences expressed by them for the various Services and Posts.

Aligarh Muslim University has invited applications for admission to the Engineering and Medical Courses at institutions under the University.B.Tech/B Arch courses are offered at Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology under the Faculty of Engineering & Technology of Aligarh Muslim University.

For admission to the B.Tech Courses in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Petrochemical Engineering, applicant should have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of Aligarh Muslim University or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or the Diploma in Engineering of Aligarh Muslim University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Selection to the B Tech Programmes will be through an Admission Test of 3 hours duration to be held from 10 am on 14.5.2011 at Aligarh (U.P), Lucknow (U.P), Bhopal (M.P), Hyderabad (A.P), Kolkata (W.B), Kozhikode (Kerala) and Srinagar (J & K).

For Admission to Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) course of 10 semester duration, applicant should have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of Aligarh Muslim University or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or should hold Diploma in Engineering of Aligarh Muslim University with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Selection will be through Admission Test, which will have two papers of equal weightage.

Paper I of three hour duration will be from 10 am on 14.5.2011 and that of Paper II, also of three hours duration, from 3 pm on 14.5.2011. Paper I will be an objective type paper of 150 marks comprising 150 questions from Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

Paper II will be the Architecture Aptitude Test which will contain some descriptive questions and Test of Drawing. Candidates should bring their own drawing and sketching material like pencils, eraser, sharpener, pen, ink, Pencil Colours, Water Colours etc. Drawing Sheets and/or Answer Booklet shall be provided to the candidates.

Admission Test Fee for B Tech is Rs.600/- for Online Application and Rs.700/- for Offline Application. Online Application Fee for B Arch Admission Test is Rs.700/- and Offline application fee is Rs.800/-.

Candidates applying for admission to B.Tech can also apply for admission to B.Arch on the same Application Form after paying additional Admission Test fee of Rs.100/-. Such candidates shall also have to appear in Paper II.

Candidates applying for admission to B.Arch. can also apply for admission to B.Tech on the same Application Form without paying additional Admission Test fee. However, they should clearly indicate their choices, in order of preference, in the Application Form.

Application has been invited for admission to the MBBS Course at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and to the BDS Course at Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College.

For admission to the MBBS Course (145 seats) and BDS Course (35 seats), applicant should have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of Aligarh Muslim University or an examination recognised by the University as its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Further, the candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Applicant should not be less than 17 years as on 31st December, 2011.

Selection will be through a Combined Admission Test of 3 hours duration to be held from 10 am on 29.05.2011 at Aligarh (U.P), Lucknow (U.P), Bhopal (M.P), Hyderabad (A.P), Kolkata (W.B), Kozhikode (Kerala) and Srinagar (J & K).

Admission test will have one objective type paper of 200 marks comprising 200 questions from Chemistry, Physics, Botany and Zoology. Applicant should secure at least 50% marks in the Admission Test to become eligible for selection.

Syllabus is available at http://www.amucontrollerexams.com/admissions.html Selected candidates will have to go through medical fitness examination before completing the admission. Test Fee is Rs.700/- for Online Registration and Rs.800/- for Offline registration.

Candidates applying for M.B.B.S can also apply for admission to B.D.S in the same Application Form without paying any additional Admission Test Fee. They should clearly indicate in their Application Form their choices in order of preference.

Online application form can be filled up as per the instructions given at http://www.amucontrollerexams.com/faculties/guides/guide2011.pdf and also available attached to the Form. After submitting the application, applicant has to take a Printout of the PDF Generated Application Form on A-4 Size paper of not less than 80 GSM.

Those applying offline may Download the appropriate Application Form from the website meant for the course for which the applicant wishes to apply and get it printed on A-4 size paper of not less than 80 GSM. The application Form may be filled by following the instructions given in the Admission Guide. The applicant must affix the thumb impression, signature and paste a recent photographs at the designated place on the Application Form.

The Admission Test Fee as mentioned against each course is to be remitted through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Finance Officer, A M U, Aligarh payable at Aligarh OR Cash Receipt from Finance Office, AMU, Aligarh. Applicant must attach the original Demand Draft/Cash Receipt with his/her Application Form and also write his/her name, date of birth, course of study and Transaction ID (if available) on the reverse of the Demand Draft/Cash Receipt.

Applicant has to attach the appropriate Demand Draft / Cash Receipt along with other relevant document(s) with the Application Form. Printout/Filled Applications along with the documents mentioned in the Guide have to reach the Admission Section, Office of the Controller of Examinations, AMU, Aligarh -202002 by hand or by Registered Post / Speed Post or through Courier latest by 26.3.2011 in case of B tech/B Arch courses and 28.3.2011 in case of MBBS/BDS Courses. Candidates may retain a photocopy of their filled-in form for future reference.
