3-YR ICD AND 4-YR DEGREE PROGRAM
Sant
Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET) is a Centrally
Funded Technical Institute (CFTI) with Deemed University status
established by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of
India. Spread in sprawling more than four hundred acres of land, the Institute
is wonderfuly blessed with natural beauty and greenery. The Institute,
unique of its kind in India, offers multi-entry and multi-exit modular pattern
of education in various branches of Engineering & Technology. There
is a provision for vertical entry from one module to another module as per the
SLIET rule. From this session, the Institute is launching
i) 3-Yr
Integrated Certificate-Diploma (ICD) Program for matriculate (10th standard)
candidates. (Admission to ICD will be made through All India Test (SET)
conducted by SLIET Longowal) and
ii) 4-Yr
Degree programme (admission through JEE Mains) for 10+2 standard
candidates & counseling through NITs/ SLIET Longowal.
Students
successfully completing 2 yrs of the 3-Yr ICD Program shall be awarded a
Certificate which would be equivalent to 10+2. They will also be eligible to
lake admission in the 4-Yr Degree course through JEE Mains mentioned above.
The
Institute is also offering admission to the a) Diploma level candidates
into the second year of Degree program through SET conducted on All India basis b) M.Sc.
Programmes through entrance test conducted by Panjab University - PU-CET(PG) /
CUCET conducted by Central Universities c) MBA Programme through CMAT/CAT
followed by interview d) M. Tech. Programmes
through GATE, as a participating member of CCMT along with NITs and e) Ph.D.
Programmes through eligibility test/NET /GATE folowed by interview conducted
by SLIET, as wel as under CMP Program of AICTE. Reservation policy for

GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST (GPAT)- 2014
• AICTE
has been conducting the National level GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST (GPAT) since
2010 for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in
all postgraduate pharmacy programmes approved by AICTE.
• From
last year GPAT is being conducted as computer based online test.
• The
notification is issued to announce the schedule for conducting computer based
online GPAT for admission for academic year 2014-15.
• The
testing window will be open for three days i.e. from 25th February 2014 to 27th
February 2014 in 57 cities. The candidates will have option of selecting date
and city for appearing in the test.

Eligibility
• Bachelor's

Applications in the prescribed Form are invited by
Utkal University, Bhubaneswar from intending candidates who have secured
minimum 55% (50% in case of SC/ST candidates and college teachers with 15 years
of teaching experience) of marks at P.G. level for Ph.D. Entrance Test and
Interview for the session 2014-15 in the Faculties of Culture Studies, Language
and Literature, Visual Art & Performing Art under Utkal University of
Culture.

Relaxation
1. The candidates belonging to SC/ST category and
teachers of colleges with 15 years teaching experience shall be given
relaxation of 5% marks at Master Degree level.
2. Candidates qualifying
UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE/SLET/DBT/ICMR/ICAR/ICHR/ICSSR/INSPIRE Fellowship of DST/Rajiv
Gandhi National Fellowship/Deptt. of Culture, Govt, of India and other National
Bodies and awardees of Teacher Fellowship and such other fellowship as will be
approved by the Vice-Chancellor from time to time are also exempted from
entrance test and interview.
3. M.Phil Degree holders are also exempted from
entrance test and interview provided they have been admitted to M.Phil
programme through a written entrance test.
4. Teachers of colleges/University/institutions of
Higher Education and professionals with 7 years teaching /professional
experience shall be exempted from appearing the entrance test and interview.
However, all such candidates are required to apply
in the said prescribed application form for Ph.D. entrance test for issue of
necessary certificate of exemption from appearing entrance test.

500/-
(b) Entrance Examination Fee : Rs. 2000/-
Total : Rs. 2500/- (The applicant who are exempted
