NOTIFICATION

As per GO(Rt) No.2238/2013/H&FWD dated: 25.06.2013, the Government have amended the Prospectus for admission to Post Graduate Super Speciality Courses-2013 to the extent that candidates with PG qualification in Respiratory Medicine can opt for D.M. Cardiology as well along with D.M. Pulmonary Medicine. In light of this, fresh applications are invited from candidates with PG qualification in Respiratory Medicine who can apply online in the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations www.cee.kerala.gov.in up to 5 pm, On 02.07.2013.
Candidates should apply online, take the printout of the online application and send it to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Vth Floor, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695 001, Before 5 pm On 02.07.2013 along with all required documents mentioned in the Prospectus and as per the Instructions given in the website.
Service candidates should in addition send a copy of the application to the Controlling Officer concerned (DME/DHS) Before 5 pm On 02.07.2013.

IMPORTANT: Candidates with PG qualification in Respiratory Medicine alone can submit fresh applications.

Candidates with PG qualification in Respiratory Medicine who have already applied online and submitted the printout of the application to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations may again apply online for D.M.Pulmonary Medicine and/or D.M.Cardiology and submit the printout of the application to the respective authorities with the duplicate copy of the chalan sent along with the previous application.

1. Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to Post Graduate Degree Courses in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) 2013 in the Nursing Colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam,Trissur,Alappuzha and Kozhikode and Govt. Seats in Self Financing colleges in the following Specialties.
[i] Medical Surgical Nursing [ii] Community Health Nursing [iii] Child Health Nursing [iv] Obstetrics & Gynaecology Nursing [v] Mental Health Nursing  [Duration of the course will be 2 academic year (24 months)]

2. Eligibility for Admission :
(i) Nativity : Applicants should have satisfied any of the following conditions:
a. Indian Citizen of Kerala Origin.
b. Candidates, who are sons/daughters of Non-Keralite parents and have obtained B.Sc Nursing degree from any of the Nursing Colleges in Kerala State. But they will not be eligible for communal/PD reservation benefits.
c. Candidates who are not of Kerala origin but have been resident of Kerala for a period of not less than 8 years. But they will not be eligible for communal/PD reservation benefits.
(ii) Academic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (Regular course)of Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi, Cochin, Kannur University or any other University recognized by KUHS, Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi University, Cochin or Kannur University. Candidates who have passed the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (Regular Course) of Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi, Cochin, Kannur University or any other University recognized by KUHS ,Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi University, Cochin or Kannur University after acquiring the General Nursing and Midwifery Course are also eligible to
apply. Candidates who have passed B.Sc Degree in Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (Regular
course) or equivalent examination from universities outside Kerala and any Deemed Universities, should produce the recognition/eligibility certificate from any of the universities in Kerala at the time of counseling.
(iii)Experience :Candidate should have completed one year of experience in any hospital with an
average strength of 100 inpatients or in a School of Nursing or in a Community Health Nursing Programme or internship/Compulsory Nursing Service after registration with the Kerala Nursing
Council on the date of notification of inviting application ie. on 20.06.2013

Note: [a] The experience acquired by candidates after registration from Nursing Councils outside
Kerala, after getting B Sc Nursing Degree will also be counted for experience.
 [b] The period undergone by a candidate for completing the Post Basic Nursing Course will  not be reckoned as work experience.
 [C] The experience acquired after the completion of the General Nursing and Midwifery  Course, but before acquiring the B.Sc Nursing Degree will not be counted for the  required experience.
Applicants should have obtained registration with Kerala Nursing Council at the time of Counseling.
3. Age: The upper age limit for General candidates shall be 46 years and that for Service candidates will be 49 years as on the date of notification of inviting application. (i.e.20.06.2013)
4. Selection and Entrance Examination : All Candidates including Service Quota candidates shall have
to appear for the Entrance Examination to be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala at Thiruvananthapuram on 21.07.2013(Sunday) The Entrance examination will be of 3 hours duration(10.00 am – 1.00 pm) with 200 Multiple Choice Questions.
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala will publish the rank list with all General Quota candidates who appeared in the entrance examination and have furnished the documents as per clause 8.2 of the prospectus based on their marks in the Entrance Examination. Service quota candidates have to qualify by securing 35% marks in the Entrance Examination.
5. Application forms: Prospectus and Online Application form will be available from 20.06.2013 to 01.07.2013, 5pm in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in . The Online Application procedure is common for General Quota and Service Quota candidates. Candidates seeking admission to this course can apply in the online application form provided in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in  of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fees at any State Bank of Travancore Branch using the Bank Chalan available with the print out .Candidates residing outside Kerala State can remit the application fee by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee isRs.1000/- for General/Service Quota candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates. Service candidates seeking admission under General Merit Quota also should remit extra Rs.1000/- [please see clause 8.1 ]. The application form and prospectus will not be available from the Nursing Colleges or from the office of Director of Medical Education or from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination. Application fee once remitted will not be refunded on any circumstances.
6. Last date and time for receipt of filled-in application printout: All Candidates including Service Quota candidates seeking admission to the M.Sc Nursing Courses should take the printout of the online application ,affix their passport size photograph (same as the one uploaded to the online application for P.G. Nursing Courses-2013) in the space provided in it and get it attested by a Government Gazetted Officer and forward their completed application printout with all the required documents mentioned in clause 8.2 of the prospectus including original chalan/DD to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001, either by Registered post/Speed post or hand delivery so as to reach this office before 5pm on 02.07.2013 (Tuesday). However, Service Candidates in addition should forward a copy of the completed application along with all required documents including their service details to the Controlling Officer concerned as stipulated in the prospectus, on or before5pm on 02.07.2013 (Tuesday).Late, defective and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. No correspondence will be undertaken in this regard. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will not be responsible for any postal delay.
7. Admit Cards : Admit cards for the candidates whose Applications have been accepted will be
provided online in the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, www.cee.kerala.gov.in  from 10.07.2013(Wednesday)onwards.
8. Candidates will not be allowed either to include any information in the application printout or to submit any certificates/documents claiming reservation or any benefits, after the submission of the application.
9. Candidates must note that they have to obtain the required certificates in the body of the
application printout itself, wherever specified.
10. Rank List: The CEE will conduct the Entrance Examination, publish the Rank list of General Merit candidates and the list of qualified candidates under Service Quota and forward the same to the Director of Medical Education.
11. The selection, admission and allotment of seats including those under Service Quota will be made by the Director of Medical Education, based on various provisions laid down in the prospectus, approved by the Government.
12. Candidates should go through the Prospectus, approved by the Government, which is available in the web site www.cee-kerala.org  before submitting their applications.

FOREIGN NATIONALS

ENROLLMENT NUMBER
Enrollment Number assigned to each student at the time of admission is unique. All the subsequent communication with the admitted student shall bear the reference to the Enrollment Number. Letters received without Enrollment Number will not be entertained.

IDENTITY CARD
On admission, students will be issued an Identity Card by the Directorate. The Identity Card should be kept by the students safely till the completion of the program.

CHANGE OF COURSE
Change of course will not be entertained in any case. Candidates seeking admission to the various courses are requested to choose the program of study with utmost care.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR SC/ST STUDENTS
The SC/ST students admitted into the DDE programs can avail various scholarships of the respective State/UT Governments.


STUDY MATERIAL
Study material will be sent to students by Registered Parcel or by Express Parcel Service.
Students should make their own arrangements for collecting the study material in case they are not available at the address given.

PERSONAL CONTACT PROGRAM (PCP) CLASSES: for all MBA programmes & PG Diplomas (Except MBA Hospital Management) PCP Classes Attendance is optional.
However, A total of 40 hours of PCP classes are organized per semester by the DDE at various centres across the country on four weekends in November/ May.
It is the prerogative of the DDE to identify the centres for PCPs based on the enrolment of students from a specific region.
Individual communication will be sent to the students in advance. (Please refer the DISTANCE EDUCATION link of the Pondicherry University Website for updates on PCPs).
In case the PCP is not conducted in the centre opted by the student, he/she may attend PCP at any of the centres where PCP is conducted.
Those who are not able to attend the program at the Centres opted by them, may attend the classes at any one of the centres where PCP is conducted.

Personal Contact Classes for MBA Hospital Management :
a) PCP classes for I & II semester will be conducted with other MBA programmes.
b) A total of 30 days PCP classes for III and IV semester will be conducted only in Puducherry.
c) 75% attendance is mandatory for each III and IV semester PCP classes.

Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) (2013-2014)

The Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) is an intensive one-year residential program of IIM Indore. Specially designed to enhance knowledge, skills and capabilities essential for managing and leading organizations, the programme combines skill building with exploration of good management practices. In addition to a comprehensive functional core module, the electives provide opportunities to specialise in Strategy, Leadership, and International Business.


Eligibility
The Candidate must have
i) A Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline.
ii) A valid CAT /GMAT score*
iii) Minimum 5 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation as on June 30, 2013.
The programme is open to all nationalities.

*a valid CAT 2012 score or a GMAT score obtained between Jan 2010 and May 2013.

Selection Process / Interview:
Interview of short listed candidates will be conducted at various locations depending on the number of candidates from that region. Short-listing of candidates for interview will be done based on a number of criteria like CAT /GMAT score, Academic performance, work experience etc as decided by the admissions committee.


Selection and Registration for the programme:
Candidates will be selected based on CAT /GMAT score, academic performance, achievements, performance in the interview, quality of work experience etc as decided by the admissions committee. All short listed candidates will be sent admission offers which can only be deemed accepted by the candidate if the institute receives an acceptance letter alongwith a payment of non-refundable commitment fee of Rs 100000/- (Rs One Lakh only) to IIM Indore within the stipulated time period mentioned in the offer. All the selected candidates have to register for the programme by first week of September.


Programme details
The EPGP is structured to prepare executives for transformational leadership positions. During the intense one-year programme, they will work towards developing a deeper understanding of various facets of management and hone their managerial skills. The programme is spread over five academic terms in IIM Indore campus and one International Immersion term abroad. The first three terms (mostly composed of core courses) focus on laying the foundation for the specialisation through a bundle of electives offered in the other terms. The last two terms are mostly electives and other experiential learning. An international module (currently at Katz Business School, University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) provides an opportunity to develop an understanding of the global business environment and an ability to operate in a multicultural environment.

Pedagogy
The pedagogy will be a judicious mix of lectures, case discussions, project work, term papers, role-play, seminar presentations, assignments, management games, and simulations.

How to Apply
Candidates seeking admission to the one-year EPGP programme of IIM-Indore (2013-14 batch) either should have appeared in the Common Admission Test (CAT 2012) or submit a valid GMAT score. The GMAT score should have been obtained between Jan 1, 2010 and May 31, 2013. The application form for EPGP is available on our website www.iimidr.ac.in, which the candidates are required to fill up and send by post.

The application processing fee is Rs. 5000/- for resident Indians and U.S. $ 100/- for other nationals and non-resident Indians. Please enclose a D/D for the application-processing fee drawn in favour of IIM Indore payable at Indore along with the application. The completed application form along with the processing fee and other enclosures should be sent by post/courier so as to reach Admissions Office, Indian Institute of Management Indore, Prabandh Shikhar, Rau-Pithampur road, Indore – 453556, Madhya Pradesh, India on or before June 24, 2013 till 5:30 pm.

Kindly note that the candidates applying through CAT 2012 have to mention their CAT Application Form number in the EPGP Application form. Candidates applying through GMAT have to submit their GMAT score along with the EPGP Application form.

Programme fee
The programme fee for academic year 2013-14 is Rs. 18,00,000/- (Rupees Eighteen lakh only) for Indian Nationals (Indian passport holders) and US $45,000 (U.S.D forty five thousand only) for Foreign Nationals (Foreign passport holders). The fee includes tuition, course material, access to library facilities, network /computer charges, lodging and board (at Indore) and academic input (International). For the International Module all expenses towards travel, visa, passport, boarding, lodging etc. are to be borne by the candidates. The estimated cost towards boarding and lodging at Pittsburgh is approximately Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees three lakh only).

1. Application form can be downloaded from the CUTN website (www.cutn.ac.in).
2. Candidates can choose only two options in sl. no. 12, (refer application form) based on the eligibility.
3. Candidates who have already appeared for CUCET-2013 need not apply for this entrance test. The CUTN Entrance Test scheduled on 13-07-2013 is for the residual seats after admission of candidates through CUCET-2013.
4. Enclose your attested 10 +2/HSC/Intermediate/UG mark sheet along with the application form.
5. Application fee is Rs.500/- for General and OBC (Non –Creamy Layer) candidates.
Rs.300/- for SC/ST/PWD/Women Candidates.
6. Fee can be paid through RTGS/NEFT/CBS or through Demand Draft favouring “Central University of Tamil Nadu” payable at Thiruvarur.
7. Application should be filled in by the candidate’s own hand writing in capital letters.
8. Last date for the receipt of filled in application form at the University is 08.07.2013 at 5.00pm.
9. Mere applying or appearing in the Entrance exam does not entitle admission.
10. Hall tickets for the exam can be downloaded from the website (www.cutn.ac.in)  from 10.07.2013 onwards.
