TISS Fellowship Programme, 2013 – Batch II
TISS has created a fellowship programme, which
provides financial support to TISS graduates to work with people in rural and
urban areas, and facilitate social and economic transformation in their lives
and environment by intervening in various thematic areas and projects. Only
those candidates with commitment to foster peoples’ agency for transformation
of their own context and willing to work in challenging conditions, need to
apply.

Duration:
The duration of the fellowship is two years.
Eligibility:
Student who graduated from TISS in 2011 up till 2013 can apply for these
positions. (Two of the Thematic areas, listed below, listing order of
preference.)

In addition to the CV, applicants are required to
send a Statement of Intent/Purpose of about 1000 words. (This will outline the
current social challenges that they see, and the Initiative that they would
like to undertake for social transformation, under the specific thematic areas
of the Fellowship programme that they are applying for).
Selection Process
An Independent panel will be formed to interview
candidates.
If selected for two thematic areas, successful
applicants will be awarded their first preference.
Fellowship Entitlements: (In addition to fellowship
salary of Rs. 22,000/- onwards, all positions will have)

Complete mobile work station.

Interviews in respective thematic panels will be
scheduled on First week of July 2013. Applicants will be informed of their
