Eligibility:
Applicants in their final year bachelor’s degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations / viva / assignments before May 31, 2012. All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of regular education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis). Applicants who have completed their graduation on a one-time sitting basis or on a 2-year basis are not eligible.

IBSAT Eligibility:
Graduates (any discipline) in English medium with 50% and above aggregate marks.
Final year students awaiting results can also apply.

IBSAT is an aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI University Group, for students seeking admission into the management programs. IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT is for 2 hours duration and is aimed to test the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.


MBA: • Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks
IBSAT 2011/GMAT/CAT 2011, Past academic record of Class X, Class XII and Graduation

MBA (FE): • Graduation in Statistics / Maths / Economics / Engineering with 50% and above marks. Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level.
IBSAT 2011/GMAT/CAT 2011, Past academic record of Class X, Class XII and Graduation

MBA (FB): • Graduation (any discipline) and should be a part of Family Business.

Ph.D. (FT)/(PT): • Postgraduation in Management with 60% and above marks
• Graduation with 50% and above marks and a professional qualification like CFA/CA/CWA/CS.

Admission Procedure
Applicants may seek admission through IBSAT and Interview process.

IBSAT is an Aptitude Test. IBSAT is of two hours duration and consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT 2011 will be conducted on December 24, 2011. Please refer the IBSAT 2011 Application Material at www.ibsat.org.

GMAT and CAT 2011 scores are also accepted by IBS. The GMAT Code number of IBS is 7061. Applicants with GMAT score of 550 and above are exempted from appearing for IBSAT. Applicants with GMAT/CAT 2011 scores have to download the Application Form from www.ibsat.org, complete it and send it along with the respective score card and a Demand Draft of INR 1,200 towards the cost, on or before December 12, 2011 to the IBSAT Office, 52, Nagarjuna Hills, Punjagutta, Hyderabad - 500082. Tel: 040–23385000. DD should be in favor of "IUCF A/c IBS" payable at Hyderabad.

Selection Briefings in 30 Cities During February 2012 :
candidates in 30 cities across the country during February 2012,to clarify various aspects of the selection process, financial aid and placements at IBS. All short-listed candidates are invited to attend the selection briefings along with their parents. The schedule and venues of the selection briefings will be intimated later.

Interviews at Hyderabad in March 2012
The shortlisted candidates will be called for participation in the interview process which will be held in March 2012 at Hyderabad. The interview process for each candidate will be completed in one day. The details of the interview process will be provided through a letter and the selection process kit will be sent to all the short-listed candidates.

Commencement of Classes
Preparatory Classes: May 28, 2012
Regular Classes: June 11, 2012

Fee
Selected candidates are required to pay the fee as given below. In addition, students will be required to pay hostel, water, electricity, housekeeping, bus and mess charges as applicable.

The fee for the 2 year MBA, MBA (FE) and MBA (FB) Programs is INR 4.95 lakhs per annum.

The fee for the 4 year Ph.D. program (Full-time/Part-time) is INR 1.30 lakhs per annum. However, Full-time Ph.D students have to pay only INR 40,000 towards admission fee. They get full waiver of tuition fee of INR 60,000 per semester for 8 semesters, subject to academic performance.

Merit Scholarships
IBS offers a limited number of merit scholarships, to deserving students based on their academic performance.

Bank Loans
Several banks including State Bank of India, Andhra Bank, Syndicate Bank, Punjab National Bank, Central Bank of India, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Bank of Maharashtra, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, HDFC Bank, etc., provide educational loans to the candidates selected for the Programs conducted by IBS, Hyderabad.

HOW TO APPLY:
Applicants interested in appearing for IBSAT can apply by any one of the following methods.

OMR Application Form
Applicants are required to fill up the OMR Application Form enclosed and send it to the Admissions Officer, IBSAT Office (address given on the left hand side).


Online Application
Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.ibsat.org and make payment of 1,200 towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard/Citibank Card) through secure internet payment gateway. The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.

Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form from www.ibsat.org, complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the demand draft of 1,200 towards the cost (DD in favor of “IUCF A/c IBS” payable at Hyderabad). The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.



The last date for receipt of completed OMR Application Form is December 08, 2011. All applicants are advised to adhere to the last date prescribed for submission of the application form. Please submit the application form as early as possible to improve the chances of getting the test center of your choice.


It is mandatory for all the applicants to indicate their e-mail ID, as all important information relating to IBSAT will be intimated to the applicants by e-mail.

Similarly all applicants are required to send their letters/correspondence by e-mail only to: info@ibsat.org clearly indicating their names and Application Number of IBSAT.


IBSAT will be conducted all over India. The applicants can choose any one of the test center available for IBSAT. The list of all the test centers is provided on Page 5. Please note that requests for change of test center will not be entertained under normal circumstances. In the event of not having enough seats at the requested test center, applicants will be allotted the nearest alternative center. IBSAT Office reserves the right to add or delete a few test centers depending upon the situation. The same will be intimated on the website www.ibsat.org for the benefit of applicants.



All applicants who have applied for IBSAT are eligible to download Online Admit Cards from www.ibsat.org , using the application number and date of birth as their user name and password respectively from November 15, 2011 onwards. The online admit card will carry the name, address, roll number of the applicant, test date, timings, and details of the test center. No hard copies of Admit Cards will be sent. The admit card is not transferable. Impersonation is a punishable offence under law.


The results of the IBSAT 2011 will be hosted online on www.ibsat.org around January 23, 2012. The details of the score (in terms of percentiles)obtained in the test will be intimated to all applicants.
