Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (PGDRP)
Eligibility
Graduation in Psychology with 45% marks in aggregate in Psychology as major subject or as one of the major optional in all the three years of Graduation.
OR Masters in Psychology from Recognised University or equivalent.
Duration: 1 Year
Intake Capacity: 25
Mode of Selection: As per Merit (first come first serve basis)

Vision Institute of Applied Studies (VIAS) has been established under the aegis of Society for Research & Development in Education (SRDE) at Faridabad . The society is registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 and PWD Act of 1995. The Institution has emerged as a leader for studies in Special Education, Rehabilitation Psychology and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities in the region Institutional campus has been allotted by the Government of Haryana.
Moreover, institution has state-of-art-infrastructure consisting of Model Special School, spacious classrooms, laboratories for Hearing, Language and Speech Pathology, Psychology, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy. The team led by some of the best academicians and professionals from the field. Library consist more than 2000 titles and computer laboratory with Internet connectivity are some of the brief features of the Institute which is situated adjacent to NH-2 (Delhi –Agra Road) in the heart of Faridabad.
Furthermore, we all know that Psychology is constant developing field of study. The role of Psychology in serving the ‘Children with Special Needs’ is paramount. The need of hour is to research more about the differently – abled population in context of psychology. As the Institution is running the ‘ Vision Special School ’ which is catering to the entire major disabilities viz; Mental Retardation, Hearing Impaired, Visual impaired and Learning Disability
In addition, Social Welfare Department, Government of Haryana has already granted its recommendation to the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) for establishment of the Institution. Furthermore, the RCI has approved the following programmes for the session 2011-12:
I. Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)
II. Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education (DECSE)
III. D. Ed. (Special Education) Mental Retardation
IV. PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology
V. Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech
