Applications as per the prescribed format (Annexure invited from the eligible permanent residents of different districts of Jammu Province of J&K State (Jammu province only) for admission to the following diploma course during the academic session 2013- 14 :-

1. Basic Horticulture Training (BHT)
Eligibility: Pass in 10+2 examination with science subjects. Candidates possessing Short Term Certificate courses in respective discipline from ICAR recognized Universities/Institutions shall be given preference.

Age: Not Less Than 17 years as on 31-12-2013.

Duration: One year.

Fee Structure: The course fee shall be charges in advance at the beginning of each term as under:
1st term Rs.6350/-
2nd term Rs. 2350/-

How to apply: The applications on the prescribed format complete in all respects accompanied with crossed demand draft amounting to Rs. 200/- only on account of application charges drawn in favour of Comptroller 3KUAST-J payable at RCC Jammu must reach Registrar SKUAST-J main Campus Chatha, Jammu-180009 on or before 30-12-2013 alongwith following documents.

Admission to the Progammes will be based on the score in the KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE) 2014, to be held as an online computer based test from 24th April, 2014 to 3rd May, 2014. Undergraduate Courses:

Bachelor of Architecture(5 years): Applicant should have born on or after 01.07.1993 and should have a pass in 10+2 examination from a recognized board or its equivalent, subject to securing 60% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a subject at Higher Secondary level and a pass in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA), New Delhi either in 2014 or 2013.

MBBS/BDS:10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for general category candidates and 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for SC/ST Candidates. Applicant should complete 17 years as on 31.12.14. Upper age limit is 25 years as on 31.12.14. The upper age limit may be relaxed by five year for SC/ST candidates.

B.Sc. Nursing (4 years): Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English(PCBE) with at least 45% marks in aggregate. Lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.14 & upper age limit is 35 years as on 31.12.14.

B.ALL.B/BBA LL.B/B.Sc LL.B(5 years): Applicant should not have completed 21 years of age as on 01.07.14 and should have a pass in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks.For B.Sc. LL.B, applicant should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in the science stream with at least 45% marks.

BBA: Pass in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Economics/Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level and should have been born on or after 01.07.1993.

Integrated MCA: Applicant should have a Pass in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level& should have born on or after 01.07.1993.

Bachelor of Design (Fashion/Textile) (4 years): Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Central/State Board with 50% marks in aggregate and should have born on or after 01.07.1993.

Bachelor of Film & Television Production (3 years): Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Central/State Board with 50% marks in aggregate and should have born on or after 01.07.1993.

Those who have passed IB Diploma from International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva, Switzerland are eligible to take admission in all the courses where 10+2 is the eligibility qualification. Other criteria of the eligibility remain as applicable.
Postgraduate Courses:

MCA (3 years): Any Graduate with minimum 50% marks in graduation or equivalent having Mathematics either in 10+2 or Graduation level, as one of the subjects. Applicant should have been born on or after 01.07.1990.

M.Tech (2 years): B.E. or B.Tech. or equivalent Degree (AMIE, GRADE-IETE etc) in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or First Class MCA/First Class M.Sc. in (Comp/IT/ETC). GATE qualified candidates shall be accorded preference in the process of selection. GATE qualified candidates having score 400 or above need not sit in the entrance Examination.

For all the courses, those appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply. If one wishes to download, applicant should take the print out of downloaded Application Form.

Applicant should go through the Instructions to fill up the form, fill up the ‘Online Application Form’ and submit.A print out of Application Form mentioning the Registration Number is to be taken and photographs pasted in the space provided for it. Applicant and parent/guardian should sign on ‘Signature’ columns. The printout has to be despatched along with two passport size photographs pasted in appropriate place and 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet. Applicant should retain photocopies of ‘printed application form’ which may serve as reference for future correspondence. The online application will be accepted subject to receipt of printed application, photographs and copy of 10thPass Certificate/Mark sheet only.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has invited applications from Indian biomedical scientists for the international fellowships for the year 2014-15.

Number of fellowships:
Young scientists-12   
Senior scientists-6
Duration: 3-6 months for young scientists and 10-15 days for senior scientists

Eligibility:
1.  The applicant should be a citizen of India and working in the country.
2.  The applicant should possess an M.D/Ph.D degree with at least three years teaching/research experience for Young Scientists and fifteen years for Senior Scientists in a recognized Institute after obtaining the requisite qualification.
3.  Age:  Below 45 years for young scientists
Below 57 years for senior scientists.
4.  The applicant should be employed in a regular position in a recognized Biomedical/ Research/ Health Institution.
5.  The application should be forwarded by the Employer/Head of the Institution with a statement that the candidate will be considered as a full time employee of the Institution during the period of his/her fellowship.
6.  The applicant should submit a letter of acceptance from the host Institute where he/she proposes to work during the fellowship.
7.  The applicant should submit a concrete plan of training pertaining to the project submitted for availing the fellowship.

Financial support:
US$ 3000 per month, contingency grant of Rs. 20,000/- and return economy class air ticket (excursion airfare) for young scientists
US$ 200 per day (including US$ 75 as per diem and US$ 125 is for accommodation expenses), contingency grant of Rs. 20,000/- and return economy class air ticket  (excursion airfare) for senior scientists

Eligible candidates with CAT / GMAT scores (scores of two years old with a minimum cut off score as decided by IIFM) or UGC-CSIR-JRF / NET or GATE or ICAR NET (certificates / scores not older than 5 years) or qualified FRI entrance test for PhD (two years old) or candidates who have obtained a PGDFM / PGDM from IIFM / IIM with a minimum OGPA of 3.00 or MRM students of IIFM with 3.00 CGPA or All India and allied services officers, officers in scale II of Nationalized Banks & officers of equivalent rank of PSUs can apply directly. Candidates who fulfil the required eligibility criteria as above and do not have any of the above qualifying test scores, but have five years’ experience (post their respective eligible degree) shall be called for the internal test and those who qualify in the internal test will be called for GD & PI.

Group Discussion & Interview
GD and Interview for short-listed candidates will be held at IIFM, Bhopal during April / May 2014.

Financial Assistance
Each student would be given a monthly fellowship of Rs. 12,000/- in first and second year; Rs. 14,000/- in third and fourth year and for extended one year (if applicable) during the program.

Executive Fellow Programme in Management Admissions 2014-2015

Applications have been invited by Admissions Office, Indian Institute of Management Raipur, GEC Campus, Sejbahar, Raipur 492 015 for admission to Executive Fellow Programme in Management of IIM Raipur for the Academic Year 2014-15.

Eligibility
A Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 55 percent aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average
Or
A PGP / EPGP / PGPWE from IIMs with minimum grade point equivalent to 6.0 out of 10 point scale (with no ‘F’s and not more than two ‘D’s in the first year of PGP)
Or
A Professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 55 percent aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average
Or
A Five year / four year Integrated Master’s degree programme in any discipline, with at least 55 percent aggregate marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent
Or
A Four Years / Eight Semester bachelor’s degree (BE / BTech) with at least 60 percent aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average.

Work experience: Minimum 7 years of managerial / entrepreneurial / professional experience as on June 1st, 2014 after graduation. The programme is open to all nationalities.

Age should not be more than 55 years as on June 1st, 2014.

Admission Process:
Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria stated above are required to submit any one of the following Test Score with their application form.
A valid CAT / GRE / GMAT / GATE / UGC-JRF (last 3 years)
If a candidate does not have above score he / she has to appear Research Aptitude Test (RAT) to be conducted by IIM Raipur. The RAT will be in the pattern of CAT.
Exemption:
Candidates who have already obtained a PGP / EPGP / PGPWE from IIMs are exempted from the above mentioned testes.

Personal Interview
Upon being shortlisted in the entrance test the candidate has to appear for a personal interview at IIM Raipur in front of the Doctoral Research Committee (DRC). The DRC will assess the suitability of the candidates for research work based on the portfolio of the candidate. The committee in particular will look into a consistently good academic record, professional accomplishments, research interest etc.
Criteria for Preparing the Merit List
The Merit List will be prepared based on Test Score Personal Interview, Academic Qualification and Relevant Work Experience, Research Aptitude & Publications and Reference Letter.

Acceptance of Admission Offer
A candidate receiving admission offer from IIM Raipur and accepting the offer within the stipulated date needs to send along with Offer Acceptance a non-refundable commitment fee of ₹ 50,000 (the date of submission will be mentioned in admission offer letter) which will be adjusted against the amount of first installment.

Registration and Inauguration of the Programme
All candidates are required to submit the balance amount of first year fees by May 24, 2014.Registration and Inauguration of the Programme will be held on June 7, 2014.
